I know that, but I don’t think Chris knows that.

Plus, his lawyer just has to use the autism card; that’s been the most reliable defense Chris has has and that’s the easiest way to do it.
If he didn’t know it was wrong then why would Chris lie that it never happened? Sounds like he knew he did something wrong and tried to cover it up in his usual incompetent manner.

I should make a rule where if you complain about a thread not being featured you just get banned automatically.

Post a TTS thread with a link to the outcome. Chris going to court is not a happening. Chris has been going to court every 4 months for the last 10 years since the site was up. If something actually happens, then it's a happening.

It's not even a trial. It's a grand jury trial. They're asking a grand jury if there's enough evidence to indict Chris for the crime. So we'll get a yes/no and then it moves down the road by another 4 months. Grand Juries are not super juries that are more cool and important than regular juries. There much less at stake than a normal trial.

Not certain yet. Any felony case has to go before the grand jury, and there's always a chance the grand jury could say there's insufficient evidence for a case but in general they act as a rubber stamp since prosecutors generally know when a case is weak enough to not get past the grand jury.

After the grand jury Chris could still get a plea deal.
“Members of the Grand Jury, we present to you this overindulged marshmallow of a middle aged deviant who repeatedly raped his infirm and dementia suffering mother, while claiming it was healing her. We have her /retch video of the deviant proudly bragging about all of this, plus these /gag samples collected from the scene and victim. When County Elder Services first discovered the victim they found her in a state requiring a month of hospitalization. The accused then proceeded to steal from her bank accounts while she was hospitalized. Violating a protective order barring him from doing so”

The Grand Jury will return that indictment before lunchtime.

ill be honest, i was hoping today would mark the end of the jail saga since ive grown pretty bored with it. i was hoping he would plea, get out, and then we could begin the next saga of him trying to make his way post jail without barb around.
on the other hand, with this going to a grand jury there lies the possibility of him getting a serious criminal charge and sentencing. we just got to wait a bit longer on this.

but rape gets trickier.
They have him on tape with Bella admitting to forcing himself on Barb. Likely even told the police "she didn't want to at first, but gave in" (paraphrasing here) in his interrogation when they coaxed it out of him.

It's not going to play well. He knew what he was doing was wrong and went through actions (however poorly) to conceal his crimes which means he's "smart" enough to know right from wrong, so even tisms ain't going to play too well.

OK sorry blood pressure went up at everyone assuming Chris is going before a jury now.
You're still cool in my book, despite that. You're doing god's work by explaining this shit.
3. They always intended to zap him with a felony, but Heilberg somehow was able to stall the preliminary process for an entire year hoping to get a better deal for Chris.
I can't help but think Heilberg feels some sort of sense of failure that he couldn't just get Chris out of all of this, even when he's been optimistically telling Chris he'll find a way to get him out. It only stalled the inevitable.

Even if Chris thought she was willing, the very fact that she is not mentally capable herself makes it involuntary, I'd imagine.
Yeah, since elderly mother rape is rare, one just has to think in terms of somebody who rapes a child, mentally handicapped person or somebody who was incapable of legal consent due to drugs or alcohol. In those case, which are sadly far more common, the victims testimony isn’t always required for a conviction.

Ok but......a jury of probably white, redneck Southern people faced with a scary troon that says he is a God????? AND HE FUCKED HIS MOTHER?!?!

Chris will have the fastest deliberation ever they're not even going to leave the bench they're all just going to start unanimously screaming guilty

Home boy really screwed the pooch on this one
Charlottesville is actually really liberal, but I still think Chis is fucked.

Reactions: PhoBingas
Being profoundly foolish isn't the same as being legally insane. In May, Chris went to be evaluated for competence to stand trial. Now he is being set up to be charged with a serious felony. That should tell you that insanity and group homes aren't in the cards for him any more.

The thing we aren't considering (yet) are the weens... If the Trump brouhaha has taught us anything, it's that being close to criminals without being an actual criminal yourself doesn't mean you're free to skip through the daisies. Every ween who documented Chris talking about banging mom or wrote him letters in prison had better be ready for the subpoenas to arrive. It's time for all the weens to start lawyering up. They are going to be dragged out into the public.
Ah… yes, do not touch poo or you’ll get stinky. Weens who wrote him letters who thought it’ll just be harmless speculative fun, thinking it’s not like Chris can do anything in there, start panicking. For those out of state, would they get called to testify? How would all that work?

Incest would be easy to prove, but rape gets trickier. There’s only one real witness: Barb herself. Can you see her taking the stand against Chris? Even if she was lucid enough to testify, would she? I doubt it.

Also, given her mental state, her literally asking Chris for sex and/or isn’t out of the question. And that’s where Chris being a retard comes into play because he doesn’t understand how dementia works and what their confused state can lead them to do. Chris may have honestly thought that Barb was a willing participant.
While something like this should never happen to anyone, it's Barbs own doing and I'm positive Barb was consensual. But, being decent human beings (the court) I'm pretty sure they don't want to drag her down more than she already is. I mean she's a terrible person, but:

she's also old af, no real family, no real income, who's now outed to having sexual relations with her retarded son who's also the village idiot, and is already despised in the community (both her and Chris) Lawyers may not have souls. But they do have standards, unless you know. Scorched earth, balls deep bring her to the stand, etc.

No way would the prosecutor risk putting a bunch of weens on the witness stand; Heilberg would completely demolish their credibility without any effort. The fact that this is going to a grand jury indicates that the prosecution has some pretty compelling evidence, though at this stage we can only guess what.

Dude. It's Chris.

Sonichu probably came to him in a dream and told him to fight the charges and if he was found guilty he would break Chris out.

Well folks, the good news is that soon he'll start appearing in public court records. As soon as it gets sent to the grand jury, it will appear on the website.

It also means it will be harder to keep future hearings closed to the public.

Charlottesville is actually really liberal, but I still think Chis is fucked.

The case is in Greene County, not Charlottesville. Greene County is not liberal.

Propably sloppy condoms with both their DNA.

2. There *IS* a deal but it involves pleading guilty to a felony. Chris has to be sent to circuit court for this to happen, so the deal will happen very soon. This means him being indicted is mostly just procedural.
If this is the case, the Grand Jury and arraignment will be rushed through to get the deal agreed to before Chris has a chance to change his mind.

So it's sort of like a continuance for something bigger.

I don't mind taking the long road around...

Plenty of weens to subpoena! :)
