This is why I don't bother trying to present people with heckin' stoodies and graphs and charts on this shit. No one believes it anyways because you can't find them from "reputable institutions" like Harvard or wherever, which of course, are de facto banned from seriously looking into the topic, leaving it for only fringe weirdos who don't care about their prestige or whatever to try and come up with anything.

If I could find anything else, it would likely be from Heritage Foundation or some shit like that, which is dismissed because "biased conservative org." No shit, everything is biased on this topic, there is no neutral source. Hence returning to my statement that I don't even bother with the whole muh data and muh graphs cause literally no one cares and it's dishonest for people to pretend they do.

When it comes to assessment of the question "are gays more likely to be pedos," no, not really. They will no doubt phrase their "no" differently, but both will predictably answer "no." Again, where is the objective true neutral unbiased soorce you want us to troost? What is it?

I would've specify the LGBT "community." That word as been misused and abused for nearly a decade. I would even go as far as saying the misuse of the word 'community' is what drives the generalization of just about any demographic. Community implies you know people in a semi exclusive group that shares a commonality that its members hold or believes in, kind of like a club or a religion. The "LGBT community" is merely a demographic of a singular trait, not the whole person, and not every gay person knows every gay person. But what you commonly see today is people conflating demographic with community. Being gay is not longer a single part of you but rather the whole, and concernedly a whole that's just a cog to be used maliciously. And I believe this to be intentional. If you are gay\lesbian\whatever, you are told indirectly that you're now part of something bigger than yourself. You must always support it, no matter what you as an individual think, the "community" comes first, even though you never decided to join in first place. Otherwise, you face being ostracized, and your sexuality comes into question for simply not towing the line of the "community." And this is something that goes beyond just LGBT people. It happens with just about every other demographic and even fandoms nowadays. Just think of how many things are now being referred to as a community. I like playing Halo, but I would never refer to myself as being in the "Halo Community." I'm tired of the asshole youtubers that get on their high horse and proclaim something about "the community." Just because I like playing Halo doesn't mean I have be in a "community" surrounding it like its the only thing I care about. It's just a cheap tactic used by selfish people with a sizable follower base to get what they want. The same thing can be said of any other demographic being herded into a "community." The only real cure to this is to realize no community exists, only figure heads that decree you are in one.

But it works like one, and working like a monolith is far more politically effective, just look at how far LGBT issues have been pushed since they decided to politically function like one.
And to be honest, even socially they bascially are one. Sure you get exceptions but 90% of any alaphabet people you or I talk to will mostly fall right under the party line.

One thing that I saw happen a lot a couple years back was the mass censorship of ‘right wing’ gay spaces on line. It wasn’t really talked about mainstream, because while these places had sizable numbers they did tend to just hang out and not really push their message a bunch. And now, save for some controlled opposition, everyone there pretty much went dark.
The main reason they got the hammer was, of course, transphobia. Since I’m a gay and don’t really hang with lesbians, I can’t speak for them, but what went on was basically shitting on the organizations and figureheads for being scammers and groomers before that was a major taking point, and getting really pissed that they were being used and lumped into these degenerates.
And it was unsurprisingly older gays who were the most pissed, because they actually did just want to marry their husband and go on with their lives. They succeeded, and then they saw the movement continue on to what it is now.
