I've seen tourists use apps that help them with the language barrier and they're used to tourists.

But yeah it sounds like you want some euro stuff, just go to the country with the most castles and that seems to be germany.

Oh and don't forget to check out devil's tower in Wyoming while there, as well as badlands national park which is an hour east of the black hills.

You can’t say that for certain, also ironically if I was going to Germany I would want to visit the wall first and foremost

Italy is amazing if you want to see historical shit. Pompeii was a life changing experience for me. Greece is great too, Delphi is highly recommended
 
Northern France is pretty nice. Normandy, Brittany, Burgundy, and Alsace especially. Lots of castles, cathedrals, and surprisingly not nearly as obnoxious as you'd imagine.
