This is the thing that sticks out to me. If this was an open and shut case, they would not have had to wait until the last possible moment before sending him to the grand jury.

Like you said, all we know now is that this case is being handled very unusually. At this point it's impossible to determine why, maybe it's Chris's usual antics, maybe somebody was just slacking off, maybe they think they have a weak case, etc.

It’s been speculated that there is possibly a deal in the works where Chris pleads to a felony count in exchange for a few years prison sentence, suspended after a year of time served, probation, and RSO. If Chris violates Probation or RSO, he goes back in to serve the rest of his time. Heilberg might have drug things out or insisted that things be drug out for a year in order to keep Chris in County Jail/Western State racking up that year’s time where it’s a lot safer and easier than State Prison. If this theory is correct, we’ll see Chris’ case head quickly from the Grand Jury to a Plea hearing and a sentencing.

That’s the best possible outcome for Chris. He’d be damn lucky if that’s what he gets.

Is this going to be televised?

If not can Rekieta just do a fund rising, hire a crew and just broadcast it himself? This would be the perfect opportunity to break into that "authoritative source" status.

I want to see this trail so bad.

I hope Chris gets released because the prison letters are fucking snoozapaloozas
It's a snowball's chance in hell but if the grand jury votes no on the 8th then that's what happens. IF they vote no, Keep in mind a bunch of green county rednecks on the jury will take one look at the docket and see "mother son incest" as the charge, yet the defendants name listed as "christine." Coupled with whatever they are told about him and I doubt they'll take pity on him enough to vote no.

That is hilarious, and I did not think of that.

Do we have a time frame on when we’ll know what happens with the grand jury?
Deliberation can take anywhere from ten minutes to a month. In this case, I don't think it's going to take very long. He admitted to doing it and as long as Barb has been diagnosed with dementia, it's open and shut. Keep in mind they're not even deciding whether he's guilty, they're deciding whether there's enough evidence to be indicted, which there absolutely is.

suspended sentence and released ,but labeled a sex offender and a felon. Most people would consider that a life in shambles, but this is Chris were talking about. He'll grumble and gripe about it but accept it as it beats rotting in prison with the possibility of getting beaten up. Speaking of which even if they suspend the sentence how long will be before dipshit violates the probation or his SOR by walking into a gamestop to buy the sonic games he missed out on? Or Gets caught hanging around aplayground waxing nostalgic about when he was a little kid and didn't have to deal with bullshit like this only to be arrested because they think he's planning on snatching some unattended child?

One thing is what theoretically is possible.

Another issue entirely is how many ressources they’re willing to spend on a case where a retarded degenerate had sex with a senile degenerate.

A sworn affidavit would be enough. Or if Null decides that he won’t play ball, I doubt that they’d set heaven and earth in motion for this, but would most likely just shrug and use his communications with police instead.
Yeah, I'm guessing that even if they cared to get his testimony, it'd be something in written form- and even then, its a big if.

Its possible that he could get called on something like the taking of money out of Barb's account? But that may be a separate thing all together. All in all, why would anyone even need Null's testimony on anything relating to this case?

Chris chan's life isn't being put on trial. Whether he raped his mother or not is, and perhaps the circumstances surrounding that may come into play, but talks about "Null will be asked to come, the man in the pickle suit as well, liquid chris, etc" are all just a reach

There's no "special tard jail" - his only chance of being put in a mental institution instead of jail is if he's found not guilty by reason of insanity.
This. A huge percentage of the prison population is already borderline retarded which is right where Chris is. Something like 10-15% are actual retards, and another 25% or so are in the 76-90 IQ range, which is basically retarded. There are intelligent criminals but they are good at not going to prison or getting slapped on the wrist if they do get locked up.

Last month he was hell bent that he was getting out soon "on good terms". However a month later, it's cleared to go in front of a grand jury. I have no doubt that there was a deal in place, and he either fucked it up, or some new corpse floated to the surface at the last minute.

I'm thinking he forms a new break off splinter sect to rival the Sunni's and the Shiite's. Call it the Suniichu's. It will spread across the lands like a fire driven by the winds. All Hail the Holy Lolcow. Prepare the Jihad in his name.
Paul Atredies ain’t got nothin’ on Chris. Millions of Fremenchus rampaging across the universe in His name.

Did the system fail him by not institutionalizing him long ago?
Honestly not sure, because normally they can't involuntarily commit someone unless they show a credible threat of harming themselves or someone else.

Though given the criminal history with hitting Snyder with his car and macing the Gamestop manager I wonder if that could've been used as evidence had someone tried to commit him - obviously the state didn't deem it worthy of their time to have him committed themselves.

I hope that Goddamn Michael Snyder testifies as a character witness.
Honestly, in light of the recent events, I was thinking that some ween should try to get an interview with Michael Snyder to hear his take on the matter - and maybe get more details about the "running him over with their car" incident, since allegedly it was serious enough that Michael was injured and the court made Chris and Barb pay for his medical costs.

I think someone got an interview with Megan Schroeder awhile back.
