I recognise my comments in this thread have been deceptive. I recognise I must look pretty crazy to a lot of you right now but I believe this was partly the intention of the person behind this.
In situations like these, one is prone to panic and impulsivity.
I redact my statements about the legitimacy of some of the content.
I believe the motive behind this attack consists of a few things:
- An attack on the splinter site or Cjocker specifically
- An attack on me due to information I hold & people I know which would make me a “valuable target”
- Paranoia from multiple people involved
- The extortion of multiple people for crypto currency, I have not been extorted financially. Others have.
- An attempt to isolate me & frame me as crazy
I find it strange that people jumped to the conclusion of this being only orchestrated on Discord, when it originated on Snapchat.
I believe this was no attack from a regular poster, random person or whatever.
I agree with what some users here have said about this being orchestrated by someone extremely intelligent.
Part of me wonders if this relates to greater enemies I have elsewhere, who are part of much larger organisations that would have it in for me, although this sound schizophrenic, it is reality for a lot of people.
I do not simp for Null and haven’t since the moment I was falsely accused of posting CP on other websites.
I believe the content remaining up is giving the extorter(s) what they wanted, and it isn’t helpful to anyone involved.
I have destroyed one of the file links that was being used to grab users’ IP addresses, I did not create this file link. That particular content seemed to only have been there as a ploy to phish other people.
I have spoken consistently with people close to me about this issue.
My main concern in exposing the person behind this would be causing a greater number of people to become the victims of financial extortion. I decided it was better to take the public fall personally, rather than risk the safety of other people.
My reaction score is inaccurate. It was -400 at most across all my accounts. My post count is also inaccurate. My points are correct.
There are pedophiles, zoosadists and rapists on here who have profile picture permissions, and I find it kind of disgusting that I do not, considering that fact.
I do not have DM permissions, chat permissions, or profile wall posting permissions. I don’t have talk to staff permissions and my report button has been erased. When I signed up for an account, I was not informed of these restrictions as I assumed freedom of speech and expression would cover all users, including ones with threads.
This situation has been handled absolutely terribly, on my end too, but also on the ends of the staff who’s job it is to protect people from this kind of thing happening.
This is the reality of an unmoderated Internet for anyone who still thinks it’s a 10/10 idea.
Regardless of what people say, when threads mainly are written about vulnerable, mentally ill, or disabled people, it opens them up to the potential for this thing happening. Sure, it’s our job to have better security and Opsec, but there absolutely have to be more things in place to protect everyone, including farmers.
I completely understand that there is a high chance it’s not anyone on KF who is doing sick shit like this, but my point is, the existence of certain threads lures predators, and the wrong types of people, after potentially vulnerable spergs who don’t necessarily deserve it.
It is impossible to know who is viewing what content and there is a high chance that extorters and predators use this site and other sites to find potential victims.
What I did was really stupid but I also don’t believe it makes me a bad person and I don’t really understand why I’m being punished for it via account restrictions.
I believe that person(s) responsible, knows way too much in depth detail about Null and this website to not have come from here, and I now have strange information that is not publicly available.
Not to make a grandiose comparison, but this feels a lot like what governments do, refuse to assist or protect vulnerable people and punish them when they get attacked or try to fight back.
I also want to note that people who aren’t lolcows have also been extorted in this situation.
This thread seems to just have become a magnet for federal crimes.
I am very pro-freedom of speech myself. I also used to host a similar website to this, but I also believe greatly in human rights. If content that includes of freedom of speech is impacting on someone’s human rights or safety, this should absolutely come before freedom of speech.
The fact that lolcows have so many account restrictions, proves that the excuse of freedom of speech & expression being the reason for content not being removed, is pretty much completely worthless & lacking any foundations.
Section230 protects site owners against what their users post, not the shit they do/post themselves.
The primary reason that no one has successfully sued or charged this site is because every single person who has tried has made the same errors:
- Self representing
- Disregarding section230 and freedom of speech/fair use
Because this site primarily documents people who are vulnerable, mentally unwell or financially unstable, there is almost a guarantee on there being no push back.
I am not anti people being mean online, trolling or documenting others, but there is a line that has been crossed multiple times in my thread, and I would argue that a lot of what has happened has just become illegal.
The fact I have a thread here in the first place is because I emailed Null asking him to take something off of lolcow.farm mistaking him as the owner of that site. I was a teenager, I was intoxicated at the time, and I made a mistake.
With the current restrictions on my account I believe there is no point in using this site anymore because I have so many limitations, and contrary to popular belief, I don’t use sock accounts unless I have to.
I am not fighting against mean bullies or “hate speech” or whatever other lolcows are doing, I’m trying to make a statement about protecting people from federal crimes, illegal activity and defamation, which don’t fall within the parameters of freedom of speech.
I did not release any of the content myself, and this was not a ploy for attention or an attempt to pin the blame on anyone.
I do believe that this situation was handled very poorly, and this thread should be a warning sign to all staff and posters here as to what can happen to those of us who are unlucky enough to become “lolcows”.
