Why does his mouth look like that? It's all droopy and puffy like a bloated corpse:

The face he makes is supposed to be like this:

But unlike in the photo above, Phil doesn't show anything but lips and tongue. Is it normal for a persons mouth to look like this? When I try to make the shape his mouth does it causes me lots of discomfort and I can only hold it for a few seconds.
