Sam Hyde

Where does the 30k a month figure come from? There's no way they would know if the clippers actually claim any adverts I would think.

This is also a pretty bad sign if these guys are resorting to walled garden content tactics. That's not something that ever goes 'well' as far as new growth is concerned, to say nothing of how people feel about clipping channels vs longform content to begin with.

The Feds?
If there's a way to find out how much a channel is making in advertising I don't know about it, but I'd assume that they'd not know how much the channels would be making and if they are monetized. YouTube puts ads on non-monetized videos as well.

He likely got the 30k figure by just asking them what their income is but I really doubt that any of the channels single handedly brought in that much ad revenue, maybe he was going off a combined total earnt of all the clip channels and presumed that a single clips channel would have that much income?

Weird I don't see cumtown taking down their content clippers. There is even a channel that plays their entire shows all day. Sounding a little butthurt there Sam.
Whats wrong with wanting to make money? He's got people on his payroll who have to support themselves aswell. If you have people working for you - they're depending on your success for their livelyhood - it is immoral to not make your operation more profitable. And instead of DMCAing clippers he went the way of working with them and even offering one guy 4k a month in salary. That's an insanely generous offer.

Cumtown hosts have other real life shit going on and aren't tied to the internet so they dont care where Sam has burnt almost every real life bridge and is now shackled to the internet

The easiest way to burn goodwill as an e-celeb is by DMCA'ing people whom freely spread your stuff around to others who might have never seen it without it being mirrored/clipped/etc. To give an example, Mike David of Redbar is notorious for DMCA'ing clip channels of his show, but has kinda found a balance where as long as they "preserve the quality of the show", (by clipping it in 1080p and not compressing it shittily) he'll let them stay up. (Sometimes) Although it's obvious to anyone that listens Mike still has the boomer mindset that anyone mirroring or clipping is "stealing" from him.

I don't know if this is where Sam is coming at it, but no matter what your intentions are, using the copyright system always rubs me the wrong way. The entire ethos that made the Internet great to me was that it wasn't network TV; you could post anything for free and watch it without ads, and if you liked something someone else made you'd post it to your shitty blog that 5 people read or Youtube channel, and nobody assumed any ill will from that.

Doing this never looks good, and like Null said on top of it burning goodwill with your audience, it centralizes your stuff to be easily taken down/demonetized by Youtube so uhhh oops. :story:

Milliondollarextreme were some of the funniest people on Youtube before they got deplatformed. Go watch some of the old videos if you don't believe so.
It's never as good as you remembered it being. I had to face this harsh truth recently when I went back to watch Retsupurae do the Ambition games. Things don't age how we think they will

bro the fuck
sam was being REALLY generous here
he could've just been a shitbag and DMCA'd everything in an instant, instead he tried to work with his fans, and that retard turns down 52k for what he was already doing???
IMO Sam is coming off like an old desperate boomer that doesn’t understand the younger generation here. It reminds me of old people paying me hundreds to unpack and set up their home computers or delete dumbass spyware (bonzi buddy anyone?) . Here is old man Sam who is only funny or bearable In clip format , desperate to pay this “hip” kid to make his ramblings bearable for his aging audience of rapidly maturing retards.

Before you know it, Sam will be challenging Red Letter Media nerds to fights (I mean….starrrrr warrrsssz) or AVGN. Tired out humor. Go sell used Infiniti’s to black people Sam. Then laugh in the break room with Nick about dumb EV buyers while the world continues to change around you. Can’t resist it. Aging neo boomer,

i think it's gonna play out like an exhibition match.
boogie is slow and out of shape. i don't think he wants it to end in one round. sam will probably drag it out for 3 or more rounds.
like mayweather with logan paul
Boogie will never get in the ring. It’s all a bunch of smoke and mirrors. He’d last about 20 seconds before calling it.

Logan Paul is beyond impressive in terms of his focus for the ring. It’s his aryan genetics. Sam has some weird hybrid Jewish Neanderthal genetics,so he’s a absolute ogre, but no match for someone like Paul who is literally bred to shred.

I'm interested in where someone would find that info, and I'll admit it has nothing to do with Hyde but I'd love to know how much adrev certain cows like Boogie make nowadays if I could.

This is taking Sam Hyde at his word which anyone would be wise not to do. There is no problem with trying to make money when you put out content worth money. His content can be summarized in 10 minute clips. Sam has been feuding with clippers for years now. Pretty positive he has DMCAed more then a few times now. All that will come from this is less people watching his stuff

Your profile picture and user name suggests otherwise.

I enjoy Sam's content and have chipped in the $5 a few times here or there for that reason, but this was handled in an embarrassing way. Find the multi gig magnet links of his content. They're out there
