Based on advice from @zedkissed60, I feel this update is in order.

So, you know the segment I added recently with the SOCCON drafts, right? Originally, due to how I recovered the files, I assumed they were all different versions, but as it turns out, they're all part of the same story and it's become increasingly clear they fit together as such. With this in mind, I've thus far fixed the file names accordingly, and will be updating them until (gods help us), the entire first draft is up.

Interestingly, there's more (or less) content depending on what you open the files with. Opening it with Wordpad gives you hundreds of pages (granted most have junk data), but opening the same file with MSOffice gives you less than 43 pages.

Curious.

I don't understand how brianna thought that it'd be a good idea to use the exact same characters she drew as her former self (that she wants to remove the trace of) for her new game.

Then again (s)he's done dumber shit, so I guess there's no real bottom of the barrel.

Same reason Chris saw nothing wrong with repeatedly claiming that Simonla is his ORIGINAL CHARACTER DONUT STEAL while admitting he stole her on his own wiki.
Short answer: Autism.
Long answer: Brianna sees those characters as her own self-inserts. They are perfect representations of the wonder that is Brianna (or John). These are the characters that were always going to make her a household name. She physically cannot stop herself from using them. Killing them off would be like killing off parts of herself, at least in her mind.

I think the Barbarella pic is an easy way to show shes Flynt because the poster identified her as Brianna Flynt. Its a quick way to get the point across and might sway people who read that article if they are TLDR or other SJWs though the latter group is a lot less likely.

If it can't sway people away it will certainly prevent new people from siding with her. I feel though that the sjws won't abandon her, the only thing that might sway sjws is putting emphasis on her wealth and neo-con connections through her family back when she was John.

The SJW camp is fine with wealth (like the poor churchgoers are fine with their pastors living in mansions and driving Bentleys), and they're forgiving of the sins of their figureheads, up to and including pedophilia. It won't be any specific thing about Brianna Wu, her history or something she does, that could get her ostracized. If her character mattered in any way she'd be about the last person anyone would ever hold up as a role model.

When I think about her becoming an unperson, I see it happening like if she loses a major power struggle/makes too many enemies/the wrong enemies or this tenuous coalition of authoritarian opportunists fundamentally disintegrates and all the rats scatter in different directions.

Is Valentina/Unknown supposed to be an updated version of anyone from SOCCON? Holiday and Minuete are obvious, and Amelia could be a replacement for Lani (Wu's interest in journalism changing into her general "woman in tech" thing), but there doesn't seem to be a similar character to Unknown in SOCCON.
