I don't think we've given enough props to the lady on Facebook who recorded Pat's brouhaha this week. If I were in her shoes, and heard someone I don't know yelling at the cops outside my window, I wouldn't have thought to start recording it, certainly not least as quickly as she did. It really is an insane stroke of luck that one of his neighbors had the wherewithal and journalistic instinct to start that audio memo, blessing us with the content we have today. Hopefully our luck continues with those public records requests. Body cam footage would be the greatest Pat thing of this year and that's saying something.

I love all the degrees of misdirection. Everything Owen does seems so much grander and more significant than it really is. On closer inspection, its just a gaggle of autists making dumb jokes and rolling with whatever response they get, but an entire meaningful narrative, and a rotating cast of characters has crafted itself around absolutely nothing. This shit should have ended years ago, and would have done if certain people could just shut their fucking MOUTHS for one second. Its like one of those machines that's sole purpose is to unflip a switch you just flipped.

He decided to text him on his own accord. Thats what he said in the court recording. He wasnt a member of either forum in any meaninful way before doing that. If you really need someone to blame, just blame Patrick, hes fat and deserves everything thats ever happened to him anyway. Or you can go to earlier in the thread somewhere after page 400 or so and try to find when Andrew first got his shenanigans posted to the farms. There was a bunch of talk just like this, and receipts were posted (not just the one that he wrote "patrick has bitch tits" on either lol). I really dont feel like doing it though, bc its not important.

Also i agree that p@ts neighbor is the goat in the p@tverse for AT LEAST another week or so before something even more hilarious happens, like @SomervilleDan or a rascal gets us that bodycam footage.

I'm not sure if this is why, but there's some subtle brilliance in choosing to do it this way. Since the goal is basically to set up tard fights, you get to provoke these women with a Racist White Woman, their nemesis, and then have her white knight husband come in (with a different surname and all) and defend her honour by claiming it's all about him really and they're being stupid.

It adds several layers to the prejudices that these particular easily-offended types have, which means they're more likely to ignore anything Rick has to say as 'mansplaining' and 'gaslighting'.

It's One Weird Trick to make Rick's responses come off as poorly as possible, and it's the astuteness of trolls who have gotten needling their subject down to an art.
Or I could be reading too much into it, and they just think it's funnier that way.

I've started calling him Rick in honour of the police recording, where he calls himself Pat - it makes it feel like I'm deadnaming him, which is always a pleasure. Fat Rick does not deserve the respect of being called what he wants to be called, after all.
