We have multiple people reporting on how they act towards each other in public.

Sonic-style characters are simple enough and important enough to Chris that he won't forget how to draw them. I can't say for sure what they have looked into obviously since we've got no clue how they've gotten from the leaked audio and Chris roundabout admitting to it, to them deciding to move forward with felony charges.

Actually, I do think that Barb has dementia to some degree. However, I'm not sure how severe it is, and I also know that there currently isn't any real proof that she has dementia.

What I don't think is that Chris raped Barb as part of some power fantasy or to assert dominance.

To me, it's much more likely that in her demented state, Barb was sexually inappropriate (common symptom), and Chris assumed Barb was making a move on him (as he claimed to Bella initially). Yes, Chris is responsible for this, it doesn't matter if Barb consented or not, Chris decided to do the deed, so Chris is responsible for incest regardless of consent.
