The whole thing is a grift and has been from the start. The endless delays are to just allow more time for "fundraising" that will go straight into her pocket. The GFM is so vaguely worded that it might even be legal - I'm not a lawyer so I couldn't tell you, but she's been taking her donors for a ride and now she has a small army of Useful Idiots who are so far into their sunk cost fallacy that they'll turn on anyone who, even indirectly, suggests that they have spent their money foolishly. She never gave a fuck about her kid when he was alive except as an asset to exploit for money and attention, and she's acting exactly the same way now he's dead. This situation has been like Christmas for her, she gets to be on the news and idiots are funnelling tens of thousands of pounds into her pockets.
I get the distinct impression that the press are holding back their attack dogs until his machine is finally switched off, then they'll turn on her. She'll get photographed sunning herself in Ibiza or something and the tabloids will raise yet another army of ignorant council-house ditchpigs, this time against her rather than for her. Even the BBC is changing the tone of their coverage from supportive to critical.
The BBC's claims of neutrality are a complete sham, but they're clever about their bias. You have to look at what words are put in quotation marks, the pictures they choose (and whether they're flattering to the subject), their sentence construction, use of NLP techniques, that sort of thing. The last couple of articles are ... terse, let's say. It'll be open season on Hollie once this farce comes to an end, especially if there's shenanigans at the hospital.

Why do these mental chav women say these things? "Open those beautiful eyes we've all been waiting for." I consider it borderline inappropriate. He's not your kid and you didn't know him. Being a little boy too has really piqued the interest of the narcissistic boy-moms and Facebook huns who luv their little man xx.
I've been following this since late May, I never would have believed it'd be dragged out this long. Modern medicine is amazing, the fact a corpse can be kept warm and chugging along at some level of "function", not that Hollie is grateful at all for it. People like Hollie aren't even rare - they're a special mix of low IQ just outside the range of clinically retarded, generational economic disadvantage, bad parenting, crime, and a trashy family, social and cultural environment. It's a peculiarly Council Estate thing, the sentimentality stampede. I first remember it when Princess Diana died, if you weren't seen to be mourning hard enough, you were, for want of a better word, cancelled. Every so often some sappy cause will summon hordes of scarlet-taloned, bottle-blonde harpies and their skunk-addled boyfriends to whatever tragedy is in the news and this will result in a tacky "Argos Cenotaph" of Interflora bouquets and Hallmark teddy bears with cloying notes about how whatever knife-wielding Ned flipped his stolen ATV on the bypass was a "Pefrect Angle". I guess it's a chance to be part of something from people who are usually part of nothing. I don't know whether I have more contempt for the people that do this or the ringleaders in the press who encourage and enable it just to sell a few more scumrags. Actually, scratch that, I hate the journalists way more, the Chav hordes are basically zombies with no ability to think for themselves, the journos who profit from this know exactly what they're doing. When the revolution comes, they will be very surprised to find themselves ahead of both the rich and the politicians in the queue for the guillotine.
