I was autistically looking through her neighborhood because I was curious about her neighbors and such, and I did find out the landlord. He lives way out away from the city part of Florence and I highly doubt he is related. Also doubt he knows about all the animals on the property. Although it is the south and generally cheaper rent, I don't think it is as low as 300 per month without some kind of assistance. I lived in a comparable area a few years ago and while the rent was low, it was not that low, especially in current day. Her neighborhood probably isn't that great though, as when I googled previous tenants names in the surrounding homes, a few of the search results came up with them having arrest warrants or on the local news for some kind of crime.

I honestly don't think she's going to move into the trailer. I think she got excited at the possibility of being her own landlord, but then realized all the work that needed to be done. You can see how the story changed from "relatives are going to fix it"(her) to "hire someone to fix it" (Josh) because it became clear that this isn't a job for amateurs.

She still continues the occasional grift (though not nearly as often as the coloring books and food to feed her addiction) because it has turned into "we are going to move in!" to "maybe one day we will, if miracles can happen and you all buy this shit because we sure as hell cannot afford it"

For the rent to be $300 for a house it has to be section 8. Unless her rent is actually something else and she said it is $300 for whatever reason. I doubt Josh is paying a part of the rent. The landlord must be participating because the benefit of section 8 is the guaranteed check every month. But the downside are the section 8 tenants who tend to wreck the places.

I was curious about the costs of section 8 rent in Florence and I found some similar looking, kind of shitty small houses with comparable rents. And a website with a breakdown on the vouchers.

It makes sense she would be on section 8, I read a large portion of the south relies on gibs like that.

Polissa's tweets are so bizarre because unlike most ignorant white trash, she has the ability to form a grammatically correct sentence with minimal errors and uses the occasional word that goes beyond a third-grade vocabulary.

But then she makes her delayed intellect incredibly clear when she posts a receipt of soda and junk food as proof that she needs more money, or shows no understanding of what is actually necessary for a surgical procedure, or contradicts herself (or husband contradicts) but she doesn't delete the evidence of being untruthful, or being completely unable to use money wisely, plus many other examples of stupidity.

I've also noticed that of all the things she complains about, her disability is pretty low on the list. I'm definitely not pro-munching, but for someone unable to work because of "muh fibro" and CPTSD, those don't seem to affect her life nearly as much as a lack of coloring books and kimonos. She doesn't even try to hide that she is too lazy to work, so depends on taxpayers, then still expects working people to buy her more things.
