Wu's pissed because this punched holes in the narrative. For the uninitiated, Gender Ideologues got a reknown doctor who was literally central to the Gender Dysphoria Diagnosis fired by claiming he was doing reparative therapy (i.e. converting transpeople). This was a hoax, plain and simple, and the guy was simply advocating that you not immediately label young children and teens transgender, since there is every possibility that it might not be some deeper thing and may resolve itself in time.

For such a logical, common-sense approach, he was deemed a heretic. Then the fact that the whole thing was bullshit was exposed and now Wu and friends are pissed.
