The complete lack of a response from lefties to Biden going back on his anti-wall stance shows you it really never was about the wall. White liberals were against the wall because orange poopoo man Drumpf wanted it. Now that it's Biden doing it they don't care at all. They never did. That political stance was held by them entirely to spite Trump and his followers.

In this case the question is easy to answer. Hang the traitors.
The Democrats have gone all in on a set of policies which are absolutely abhorred by the general populace. They have rendered themselves unelectable outside of their strongholds. While internal division does cause a drop in general electability, the best time for such division is when the opposing side is going through a greater crises as it lets you use your own enemies as cover for your housekeeping.

I hate that tweet because its wrong. No, not that its stupid or that the two partisan sides have radically different self-conceptions. But rather the premise that America itself is two nations.

It is a good time to remind anyone here, each of the parties actually makes up less than a third of the nation. A good 40% of the United States is not aligned to either Republicans or Democrats. It is not a 50/50 split between two sides.

Cultural hegemony. You mass produce entertainment media at much lower cost than local media, driving native competition to the fringes. This is also why there's BLM/Antifa protest in the UK, Germany and France, despite all those having their own political systems completely separate from the US and a behemoth of cultural history that dwarf the Americas.
Hollywood and Disney ate the western world, but the hegemony is dying under its own obesity and we are witnessing the cardiac arrest

Immature possibly, but explain please how it's insensitive and inaccurate. It came from China and it's novel, it's not like people kvetched over the name "Spanish Flu".

Same reason why beating up random Chinese-American people during and AFTER the pandemic is "insensitive."

You realize China is a country and Chinese is a race right? As well as a nationality? And that the people beating up chinks were almost always black, right?
