It was talked about before, they 100% call each other by their names or 'stage names' but if they're doing off-collabs, they will use their vtuber names to stay in habit. Since imagine if you're waiting to pick someone up from the airport and a person catches a glimpse of you asking (vtuber here by name) where they're at etc, it'll spread like wildfire xyz chubba is at such and such city and to be on the look out. If you're close enough to meet offline with someone who were literally strangers to you and sometimes from different countries, you're not on a only work name basis. It also throws people off (unless you know their voices) too. You really only see name goofs when chubbas knew each other for years irl or pl and have YEARS of habit of calling them one name vs the handful of months or 1 year or so calling em their new name.

I specifically recall Kronii freaking out when she accidentally called Fauna by her Vtuber character name in public (When the girls first met irl), then tried to pass it off as 'Wait, w-who's Fauna? Who even is that?" So I would think they use real names, at least in person.

Also Fauna says she read the books when she was a preteen, and so now whenever she hears the word spider-monkey she thinks of that scene lol. I would assume they use real names when they're meeting irl and off stream, but in off-collabs they obviously have to stay in character. I think this rings true for general content creators with friends since it's awkward to be calling someone by their persona for example anyway.

This is fucking weird. This just popped up on Roza's Youtube Channel.

It's from a stream she did in May. Why the fuck would they update her channel with a clip when she got "graduated" on June1 3th (half month ago). Trying to see if her roommate has said anything about it but I see nothing. Currently, HavenX has been mostly dead. Koa (monkey) hasn't streamed in about 3 weeks and Viri (deer) had been MIA for 1 month.

Something somewhat related. Yesterday Rie Hime (Phase 2ndGen) mentioned that she wouldn't stream as much on August. I think she was going to move or some shit. She said she would still try to do some unscheduled streams. This will be something interesting to pay attention to as we can see if her numbers take a massive hit compared to the other members or if she manages to keep the community active using Twitter Spaces and other shorter-type content.

Pippa has a vr set up. The tech looks cool; they map out rigging points in software and probably uses Vr Trackers to determine where a person is standing and help animate the limbs.

e: the real time finger and face tracking is really impressive hopefully Wonder improves it and fishman brings it stateside.
