lol Toxic grandpa shows his true self.

"Get fucked idiots!" "They want my body so bad but they can't have me." "This is what it means to be an idol, you can never touch me". "I don't feel bad for them at all." "Maybe one day I'll sing for you."

Uki and Fulgur doing a convention Q&A for some Hong Kong convention. You can hear the fujos in the crowd losing their minds over anything they say. Its pretty impressive.

Edit: The guy doing the panel asked them to each sing a few karaoke songs
Fulgur - Falling in Love With You
Not sure if its the nerves or if he's trying to do some sort of vibrato but his voice keeps shaking and its a bit scuffed.

Uki - Fly me to the moon
Not gonna lie Uki is an amazing singer and during the "Baby kiss me" part he changed the lyrics to "Fulgur kiss me" and every single girl in the crowd started screaming.

Fulgur - Wonderwall
Don't think he was expecting what Uki did so he also changed the lyrics to "Uki, you're gonna be the one that saves me" which also led to a bunch of girl screaming.

As funny as it would be to see your dear chuuba scream and die immediately to a couple of zombies, it's really nice to see some degree of competence in the games they love and even be capable of giving gameplay tips to their viewerbase.
Hard agree, someone failing through a game (and not improving) can be endearing for a while, but learned competence carries a series for a long time.
One of the first things i think of as an example is Achievement Hunter / Roosterteeth.
I know there's some overlap between their thread and this one occasionally, but the thing that really stuck with me is them saying something along the lines of "We don't want to be good at games we want to be entertaining".

Regardless of the fact that they achieve neither nowadays, atleast for me their most entertaining series were always the ones that required competence and had a set goal, which they've moved away from since (like Gta criminal masterminds or their skyfactory series).

I hate the mindset that a creator can only either be competent or entertaining and not both, because while not everyone is good at the same type of games, the willingness to understand and engage with the gameplay mechanics should be basic requirement on which you can start to build entertaining content.
This is the thing that ultimately drove me away from AH's content but something that I haven't noticed in the vtubers i watch.
Sure, they aren't amazing at most games (which is why the PZ stream or Gura's rythm game streams will be memorable), but they are mostly willing to learn and also don't display the unwatchable incompetence achievementhunter sometimes puts out.
There are some games where going in blind is best. Zomboid is not one of them. They would run into the first zombie, die, and maybe retry a few times with the same results before ditching the game forever. Some games need some competence and knowledge beforehand.
Can confirm that is my experience with PZ, maybe i should try picking it up again.

Clip tax: First time i've heard one of the JPs call Gura "Big fish", fits i guess.

Someone posted this (Twitter/Discord). Cant hear the person, and Pippa's audio is a bit delayed but its cute as hell.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Wait, holy fuck, Pippa's left arm could go behind the person while the right arm went in front? Dam, that really is some magical shit.

Gotta pimp out your top girl to grow the company, but maybe Tenma refused?
It probably would have made sense for Tenma to do it seeing as how she's already in Canada…

"It's maggin time" true, cross-company unity
I personally really liked this part of the collab, though tbf I only saw a small part of it for some reason.

Our hot mess girl goes no thoughts head empty for a minute
Unityfags are enemies of the state, please turn around and face the wall Mr. Nolan, this will only take a moment. :deagle:

Certainly helps that Uki is actually turbo gay and not just acting. IDK what Fulgur's sexuality is.
It is nice seeing a vtuber concert crowd that isn't just a bunch of guys though.

The Maglord showed up and derailed Scarle's horror stream

Damn, I was watching that stream but had to leave to do some work. Guess I'll have to check out that moment when it's over.

I don't know what possessed Mel but she made a reddit post https://redd.it/wd685f
Nothing to interesting, just a "I am back" with picture.
What IS interesting is that she writes a shitton of replies on comments. All in English.

Second post with https://redd.it/wd7l2w "conversation lesson". This at least looks like a decent effort to get better at English (for whatever goal)

People really like Psyborg. A shame I missed. Only learned what this was right before I had to go and do something.

I have a soft spot for Mel, I hope whatever reason, the journey isn't too rough.

One thing that surprised me about Ina when I started watching her was how much she likes memes and references. She'd be all "the smug aura mocks me" and "idiot sandwich" and stuff like that, which I didn't expect form her character. But she really likes memes. The hardest I've ever seen her laugh was in her Predator watchalong when Arnie and Weathers did the arm wrestling thing, just because it was a famous meme moment that she wasn't expecting.

So I wonder how she feels about becoming something of a meme factory herself. "Unravel" was a big one early on, but more recently we had "Ina's back" and of course "TOMORROW".
I would correct the spelling error, but I just noticed there's no edit button on my posts anymore. Can anyone tell me why?

k thx

EDIT:
You cannot edit posts that are over an hour old, I believe.
That must be a new thing since I left. Used to be there was no time limit on edits. Thanks for answer.
