I should have posted in the baseball thread but that rant from Bob Costas about the unvaccinated fit here as well.

Veteran sportscaster Bob Costas criticized unvaccinated MLB players who recently sat out games in Canada due to vaccination requirements.

Costas noted during an interview on CNN that 10 players from the Kansas City Royals were recently required to forgo four games in Canada against the Toronto Blue Jays because of COVID-19 vaccination requirements, including outfielder Andrew Benintendi.

He also mentioned St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt and third baseman Nolan Arenado, who were also ineligible to play in several recent games against the Blue Jays.

“Leave aside any medical opinion. Leave aside the politics of it. This is a team sport,” Costa said during the interview.

“We’re not talking about Novak Djokovic on his own deciding not to get vaccinated in an individual sport. This is a team sport. And no matter whether you agree or disagree with the mandates or any country’s rules and regulations, you are hurting your own team,” he said.

I live in the U.S. and I was saved from the forced jab mandate by the Supreme Court decision last year. Before the decision had come down, I sent a religous exemption declaration to my HR department through email. I never received a response other than "we got this from you, thanks" and figured that was due to the court's decision.

But now I'm contemplating sending a follow up email requesting a decision from my company. I really want to insulate myself from any future fuckery since elections are coming up and I fully expect the government to go full retard when flu season starts back up.

I don't dare ask anyone at work about this as there are quite a few fauci acolytes hovering around the water fountain at all times.

Any advice would be greatly appreicated.

Edit: I should add: it's the risk of them saying 'no' that I'm worried about. No one talks about the jab any more at the office.

Never ask for permission. Wait it out, lie or forge if necessary. Also consider legal retaliation if you get fired. Don’t openly defy, subvert and pretend you are complying. HR is not your ally, don’t give them ammo.

With some of you talking about having people you know or family getting hit with something shortly after getting vaxx'd, I will say this.
Although she got the jab months ago, my sister was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that is slowly killing her, with a bunch of other shit that is coming along with it. She swears it was the vaccine but a doctor is trying to say it was probably hereditary. We have no family that I know of who had a auto immune disease. Another doctor is scratching their head on how she even got it. Makes these stories of other's family getting auto immune disease suddenly makes me wonder.

Funny thing is she wants to sue, but I told her that you signed an agreement before taking it that makes impossible for you to do so. That is if you can even collect evidence. She isn't the brightest.

Fun fact: East Asians have higher body fat at lower BMIs than anyone else. So yeah, skinnyfat is more likely to happen in those populations than others. It ties into why they get hit with weight-related illness at lower BMIs as well.

thats what makes me pissed at the family members i know that are vax maxxed, we can't even take flu shots our autoimmune history is so high and you're spinning the wheel of misfortune 3 times in a year?
