Anyway, here's the story. Late last year I was randomly recommended a Hololive fan animation from a tiny channel with only a couple of videos. I liked it so I subscribed. The channel was called Gray Scaling.

The guy didn't keep doing vtuber animations, however. Instead he focused on making short (~30 sec) animations of his own original characters. These were mostly funny/sexy shorts though there would occasionally be one with a darker tone. Kind of like Telepurte.



So why do I bring it up? Well, because of this.

That's right, the dude went fishing for talent to bring one of his characters to life as a vtuber. And what's more, he got one.

This is Aka, Gray Scaling's first vtuber. She started out as a png, but as you can see GS set her up with a fully functional rig in July.

And it didn't stop there. Just last week his other character Lani debuted her new rig.

Not content making Hololive fan content, this guy Gray Scaling is basically building a virtual harem out of his own OC's. (If you're wondering about the guy himself, he has a stream with full face cam up on his second channel.)

Are Aka and Lani any good? I don't know, I haven't watched any of their streams. I'm just impressed with what the guy has done in just a few months, and I thought you guys would be interested.

Oh, and one more thing. He's still recruiting.

But why would he even bother engaging her work account on twitter if he already knows her private life?
All I see is some guy trying to tempt unnecessary trouble, since people on the internet aren't the sanest of people.

Phase Connect debuting of AR Yabbit brought up a repressed memory and I was curious to see if any one else remembers this. From time to time I'll watch network TV because I hate myself. About a year ago I saw an ad for a new show on Fox called Alter Ego.
I remember seeing this ad and wanting to hit all involved with hammers. The avatars are butt ugly, like sub Blue Sky Studios design, and the premise makes me think some boomer exec saw the money pouring in from vtubers and went "I know how to monetize this!" I'm guessing it was pretty bad because you can find whole ass episodes on youtube. It also has a 34 out of 100 on metacritic so maybe that helps.

I remembered it so you have to too.
