The Restaurant owner was dumb to respond the way he did, because it was obviously bad PR. That being said, he had every right not to sponsor an event for whatever reason. This story illustrates well why I find it counterproductive to shoehorn FTMs into the "fetish" or "fetishizing" category. No doubt there are some that are- anywhere from "read a few too many yaoi" to "disgusting coomer" like the one just a page or two back with all the graphic tattoos. But there are a lot of them who have something else wrong with them and calling it "fetishizing gays" really misses the point.
