If you'd have told me 30-40 years ago that if WW3 ever started, the US would probably sit it out because its military was completely gutted, it was damn near out of ammo, it had critical retention and recruiting levels, and it was a trash fire with leadership that consisted of a fat REMF traitor (Milley), a dick sucker, a senile pedophile, and an alcoholic wine sucking geriatric bitch, I'd have called you crazy.

If shit pops off, there's nothing more I'd like to see than Admiral Levine being put in charge of something. If you dont recognize the name, he is the tranny doctor that was promoted from civilian to 4 star admiral thanks to Biden.

I keep seeing Dems hem and haw about how America is a racist country etc. Then I see guys like Herschel who will remind them no, we've actually made a lot of progress.

Which to my mind is true. Coming of age when I did, from what I saw, the 90s and early 00s were actually very good in terms of race relations, at least following the LA riots. There were some notable cases like that but for the most part I remember black and white people getting along.

Am I wrong and you guys just had a totally different perspective or are the Dems actively deteriorating what could have been considered a milestone of improved relations?

Levine is in charge of the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, over 6000 officers embedded in Federal agencies and the military around the world. They're stationed where it's hard to recruit regular medical professionals, or surge to places they're needed. So all Levine has to do is make sure they're ready and smooth over any friction between agencies. I believe operational decisions would be limited to deciding priorities in the event of too many requests, and most of that has probably already been decided. If there's a war and the US needs doctors somewhere, they're not going to leave that decision up to the Surgeon General.

I'm going to take a stab at the matter and say the Democratic Party will abandon Taiwan while the Republican Party say it should be defended. Ultimately China's opportunity to take it will rely on who wins the presidential election because who needs a uniform cross-party foreign policy anyway?
