I dislike him too. In fact, many of the big, over-produced cooking channels that revolve around a personalities are bad. The ones I dislike the most are:

Babish - He has no business teaching people how to cook. His "Basics with Babish" videos that are meant to be instructive show poor knife grip and chopping techniques. Cutting the way he shows is a good way to get a carpal tunnel syndrome. Other big issue is how much of these videos is simply useless padding. Babish is lauded for the camerawork but I have to disagree with that. Too often he will describe how something looks like instead of tipping the bowl towards the camera and showing. "Turn your brain off" entertainment value is the only thing he is good for. Even then he is often too lazy to accurately recreate food recipes from pop culture. And yet somehow people began to see him as a culinary authority.

Babish is such a phony who people just assume is good because of his production values. I stopped watching that Chef show with John Favreau on Netflix because it started to put Babish in it. There's this new guy, Champ's Japanese Kitchen, who has given better recipes and advice in 12 months than Babish has in years and is more engaging despite speaking a second language and being an ex-boxer who probably has brain damage.

Most video essayists annoy me, they'll take a surface level opinion and go off on a random unrelated tangent that doesn't have anything to do with the initial point but zoomers think "Talk more =smarter" so everybody thinks they're going in depth.

Basically any "gaming" YouTuber, this includes Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, DanTDM, JayKubScouts, and others Maybe I'm just salty but I grew up watching these people as a wee lad, but I've been less inclined to watch them after the turn of the decade as they started to virtue signal about "racism" "inclusivity" and "gay rights" Jack is an especially egregious example. They've made a few awful videos doing this shit, the best example was during the George Floyd riots (Mark basically egged on the rioters), but I think their twitters is where the real shitshow takes place. Like why are these YouTubers pretending to be activists? I liked them because of their ability to make something so memorable with such a simple concept, but now that I'm older I couldn't really give a shit, now they just feel like soulless corporate bugmen. They give me the same vibes as those companies changing their avi to rainbows during pride month.

This shit is why I love oneyplays, individual members made unironic political takes on twitter here and there and they sometimes joke about it, but they know that people don't want to hear unironic political discussion after a string of poo poo pee pee jelking and gooning jokes

Speaking of which, he's not that popular, but one I started disliking was the Sleep With Me podcast guy. I used to listen to his stuff to help me sleep and they were genuinely helpful, but at some point he just started shilling blm stuff. Like sure whatever racism bad, but it's kinda heavy shit to drop into a sleep podcast. Besides that he seems cool though, I wouldn't say I hate the guy

Dumbsville-The Max0r of movie reviewers.His older content where he would talk about bad actors in the sonic fanbase and such were fine however ever since he started "reviewing movies"[and by that I mean watching the movie and making bad jokes and then reviewing it in a minute at the end]he's gotten progressively worse.He now seems to think that filling the screen with as much shit as possible is funny and he can't seem to go five minutes without bringing up or referencing Drain music/ mentioning he's a drainer.

Agreed, I tried watching his video on a brony documentary and the spastic editing gave me a fucking headache. And I love YouTube poops

Challenger Andy, I liked when he did his earlier edited videos but now he mostly just does streams where he whines about having less of a following than he used to. He feels like some drunk uncle you have over at thanksgiving who throws out really self pitying shit and makes everyone uncomfortable. He also has this massive self worth complex based around being the first to do something in a game, to the point he delisted a lot of his videos of challenges he's been working on so no one else could steal his ideas.
His ego feels almost threadworthy, at least, if I or anyone were willing to hurl myself through hundreds of hours of pity parties to find the juicy moments like this one where he gets mad at his audience.

Dude has some of the absolute blandest film opinions ever and it sucks. Every one I've seen basically boils down to "well that happened for reason or lack there of." There's no substance. He doesn't bring anything to the movie review table. Nothing.
As someone who watches a lot of different movies just for the sake of exploring the medium, nothing makes me more angry than finding a fun, or at the very least interesting movie, and then seeing Elvis has some shit video made about it. I know people who religiously watch Elvis uploads and some of these people, I would like to share a fun movie with if I think they would like it. The problem is, the moment I see that Elvis has a video on it, I know that they're just gonna quote Elvis's takes to me to seem like they know what they're talking about.
To compare it to something, it's like when people quote MatPat videos to come off as smart and intellectual. "Did you know that Mario is actually faster than Sonic!?!? Hur dur". Same thing with Elvis and movies. Every time it's delivered with such smugness, like they're the smartest person just because they saw the Elvis/MatPat video.
It makes discovering movies and film dialogue in general an absolute chore since I know I'm just getting parroted some youtubers shit.
The reason Elvis bothers me more than like, an actual film reviewer/youtuber is because he's broken into a lot of the general public/"normie"-Sphere. He feels like a movie poser. I miss when he just made solid reaction videos about random shit.
