Bingo, killing any leader of ISIS besides Bin laden results in a grand total fuck all bum. Its about a single percent for about 3 days then disappears. This counts for Trump to.
Trump at least had some kind of flair to get people to take notice when he did it, like he didn't just bomb terrorists, he used the "Mother Of All Bombs" to do blow them to hell.

PayPal Unfreezes Moms for Liberty Funds After DeSantis Announces Crackdown on ‘Woke’ Banking

TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Moms for Liberty said PayPal unfroze the money in the group’s account following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ announcement last week that Florida would crack down on “woke” banking.

Moms for Liberty was founded in 2021 by parents and former school board members. Their mission focuses on defending parental rights with a massive grassroots network of parents across the country.

Moms for Liberty Co-Founder Tina Descovich said the organization had operated on PayPal for more than a year before running into the most recent problems.

Many of their donors would give monthly automatically through PayPal. However, Descovich said PayPal sent notifications that they froze the organization’s accounts during Governor DeSantis’s speech at Moms for Liberty National Summit July 15th.

“While he’s speaking, I started getting emails during that PayPal has stopped processing one by one all of our monthly donors,” Descovich said.

PayPal also froze the organization’s $4,500 and would not let them transfer the money out. PayPal told Descovich that they could not operate on the platform until the IRS approved the organization’s paperwork. However, Descovich said they PayPal had already accepted the paperwork they filed with the IRS, which is backlogged, in January of 2021.

“I emailed,” Descovich explained. “I tried calling again and get another person and they said sorry, there’s nothing you can do.”

PayPal suddenly released the funds after Governor DeSantis’ press conference announcing he wants legislation passed to prohibit transmitters like PayPal from discriminating against customers for their religious, political or social beliefs. Descovich had spoken about her PayPal experience at the press conference.

“I do think it helps. I have no other explanation why I have no messages from PayPal that they reversed anything. I have not sent them any more documents to change the status,” Descovich said. “So the only thing I have to point to is that they saw the governor’s press conference and decided to change their minds.”

The governor also wants the proposed legislation to apply to Wall Street banks and credit card companies.

“They’re using things like social credit scores to be able to marginalize people that they don’t like,” DeSantis said Thursday.

I mean, I'm not complaining, since this is a good thing, but what makes DeSantis so threatening that PayPal shat their pants and corrected their mistake?

Seems unusual considering they had no problem telling everyone else to fuck-off.

I honestly give Trump more big-ups for taking down al-Baghdadi because of how much ISIS were bleeding out of the middle east with adherents and sleeper agents committing acts of terror across Europe, Australia, and the USA during the mid-2010s. They were a tangible danger compared to this obscure nobody that the Biden-led CIA seems to have killed. Good for them I guess, but I'm not impressed.

Agreed. What gives? PayPal have been acting like Super King Big Nuts in their political persecution of conservatives, but they seemingly yield to threat of litigation by DeSantis? They must really fear this dude despite him being just one (if arguably the ballsiest) state governor.

DeSantis holds grudges and knows Jew magic. Plus it looks awful pushing around an activist shop that only has $4,500 anyway, just bad optics up against a powerful Governor.

Because what DeSantis holds is genuine power. He has both the authority and the political backing to make his threats reality, especially when the average person on the street would actually agree with the idea. Even if his rules would only apply in Florida, thats a huge amount of ecommerce still, and the Paypal investors would riot if they tried to cut services there, it'd be a financial kneecapping. And since it'd be prohibitively difficult to apply hard lines between the states, Paypal's only realistic compliance measure would be to greenlight it across the board.

I also think it indicates that there is nothing on DeSantis. There is no dirt. There are no skeletons. They tried to throw that psychopath at him and he just rolled on.

The MSM is not even trying to smear him really anymore. Kicking the mouse in the nuts probably put the fear of god into them and it should have because people supported him.

Imagine a politician you cannot smear or bring endless credible accusers against. The bricks they are shitting must be massive.

Do not get me wrong I am not flying a flag for the man or trusting him but I find the fact that the MSM has not been trying harder to obliterate him very interesting.

Considering all the bullshit California forces companies to comply with (emissions standards, carcinogen warnings, etc.), it would be nice if Florida (and Texas, what are you doing Abbott?) forced any company doing business there to cut out the woke bullshit.

DeSantis is both the governor of one of the most populous states in the country and has shown with Disney that he won't back down to private mega-corporations and will use his authority to crack down on them.

As @Kuritan Deplorable already pointed out, PayPal being unable to do business in Florida would be crippling and it's easier to just take the L and greenlight this across the board.

Now imagine what could happen if more of these governors follow DeSantis's example

It goes a bit beyond that, you are not considering the larger picture.

Trump is likely to win the next presidential election, DeSantis by now has fairly clearly chosen to back trump and not stand against him despite the Demcorat's and Endangered Rino's best attempts.

So what do these two things have to do with Paypal and policy in Florida? Well, look at the politics -of- Florida.

Florida... -isn't- a red state, despite the rowing you see about it. it is -deep- purple, a near perfect split of Democrat and Republican... so how did Trump win by such a wide margin? Well, by absolute broad appeal to the middle, and without the entrenched voting patterns of other purple states like Wisconsin. For all my love of my home state, Wisconsin has a long history of voting Blue and a lot of old dog Democrats. Its purple, but with an ideological lean towards Dems.

Florida is straight down the middle, no lean, and that means its representative of the country at large. And the independents and moderates swing harder for Trump by the day. But most importantly on a national stage, any policy which is met with wide acclaim in Florida likely would see wide acclaim nation wide. This makes Florida a perfect testing bed for policy. Policy... which will be adopted and made federal policy.

So you have a governor, whose state will be looked at for policy approval, who has chosen to ally himself with -the- major presidential candidate... who in turn has a helluva grudge.

The bank thing isn't a threat to businesses in Florida, its a threat to businesses -in America at large-.

If that is the case then it's only a matter of time before he gets what JFK got.

I'm sure the left has contingency plans for martyr'd blackshirts, though.
If the "aftermath" of Rittenhouse trial was any indication, lots of coping and seething. Its hard to convince Antifa to start smashing things if there's a serious risk of actual consequences... like say, getting shot.

If that is the case then it's only a matter of time before he gets what JFK got.
If he is assassinated it will likely be by a true lone actor. It took very little time for Obama and the FBI's bullshit to be revealed and yeah it was largely downplayed but it is out there. Murdering someone like DeSantis would be a disaster if even a hint of it got out which is likely why they went with multiple and ongoing attempts to character assassinate Trump.

They let the little ones go so that nothing is done to keep them from persecuting the people they really want to when it actually matters.

Also 2000. The DNC failed at their infinite recount strat and it resulted in sweeping changes that have kind of made that difficult to achieve.

If you disagree please feel free to let me know but I think it is part of the why. Oh also that maybe the DNC counts too many latinos as set votes.

You know... It is curious how all the legit terrorist attacks have stopped ever sense sleepy joe was in office and his approval rating went to shit. Probably more of a covid thing, but we have an open border with crikets. You'd think we have something big going down by now.
