NeoGAF & ResetERA - The Hilarious N̶e̶v̶e̶r̶e̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ Splintering "Gaming" Forum Circus

not gonna lie, I wear my jeans 2 or 3 times before I let my wife wash them, since i only ever wear jeans when we go out for a date or something. oddly, i dont do that with any other pants or shorts though.
I've seen some blue jeans that come with tags that say not to wash them frequently. Maybe it's just one of those things you don't realize is common until someone tells you.

this guy is going to be banned next

i think that thread has found why so many of the people on resetera are hated. filthy, smelly, cheap and unkempt degenerates that think they are owed more than what they get for reasons.

the only reason anyone would do something like this that i can think of is to try and save on money. (un)fortunately for them, they are or at least act social so everyone they run into sees a disgusting piece of shit and avoid them.
Yet more confirmation that literally every single person on RetardEra is a disgusting, filthy bum you'd vomit just at the smell of.
even taking wear and tear into account, washing on correct settings helps to mitigate some of that. Also, yea like you said, there are tons of places with cheap good looking clothes.

imagine smelling someone coming well before you can see them

What strikes me as odd is that everytime there is a topic about "Do you wear your shoes inside your house?", at least 3/4 of the people responding absolutely lose their fucking minds at the idea that someone might leave their shoes on in their home or someone else's home. So you might think that it is a community of clean-freaks and neat-freaks. But nope, apparently it's a horrible sin to have dirt on your floors, but wearing clothes with 5 fucking days' worth of dirt on them is completely normal and acceptable. All that built-up scum and grime is fine if it's on your khakis touching your skin all day long, but don't ever let it hit the ground of your abode. Yes, if you have carpet then maybe take your shoes off, but if your place has hardwood or tile then I don't see the big deal. Sweep/mop every now and again, or buy a Roomba if you're lazy.

Something that hasn't been touched on here or in the ResetERA thread is that if you have 5-10 pairs of pants in rotation, there's absolutely no fucking way you're keeping track of how many times you've worn each pair. So they're likely tossing all those used pants into a "wear again" pile and probably not even remembering of how many times they were worn. They just pick up a pair and give it the sniff test, and wear that shit if it isn't already stank. Which is pretty disgusting.

Much like suits and wool slacks, jeans are kind of a different issue. I don't wear them often enough to really know or care about the rules, but the general consensus seems to be that they can go a while without a wash and perhaps be better for it. When I see this thread, I mostly think about all the dofuses wearing cargo pants and ill-fitting khakis for their IT jobs. Denim-heads swear by the "don't wash them if you can help it" ethos, but if I loved jeans I would probably just go ahead and buy 5-10 pairs so I could have a regular rotation where none of them get washed more than one a month.

A multimillionaire with a net worth of $350 Million dollars slapped another multimillionaire with a net worth of about 60 million dollars. Crazy to think that is somehow a "sensitive topic". This isn't about racism, abortion, sexism, white supremacy, mass murder, genocide, tragedy, prejudice, or anything else that could even remotely be considered a "sensitive topic". It's equally hilarious to think that the man with nearly 6X more money than his victim is somehow the one that needs special mod protection. Through the anti-capitalist lens of ResetERA, Smith should absolutely be the villain.

They ought to drop the "sensitive topic" bullshit and just outright say the problem is "sensitive moderators".

Most all jeans can go without washings more often than most any other kind of pants assuming you didn't actually get them dirty, I'm assuming Era people learned this and think it applies to all pants. And then somehow they justify not washing them when dirty as proper care too.

Really super expensive jeans, I'm talking like $150 and up a pair, you're actually not really supposed to wash almost ever because you're supposed to maintain a certain look and fit and stuff if you care about that level of thing. There was an old GAF thread about this and all kinds of idiots thought that meant all jeans like you buy from K-Mart and the lunatics who drop like $400 on a pair of jeans to go to bars and clubs in some city came into the thread to inform all the losers how they never wash their jeans but the unwashed poors should. Then it became a big long debate about the value of these expensive jeans until somebody posted pictures with the labels swapped on some very similar looking ones and a bunch of them were defending some $25 Levis as having "clearly superior aesthetics" or whatever. Thread probably would have been locked as a "sensitive thread" on Era these days and everyone would have been banned.

They found a pair of jeans in the desert that were 100 years old and were still wearable.

There’s a reason they were work clothes in the old west, they’re durable as hell and don’t need to be washed after every use, unless you went ahead and spilled some coffee or whatever on them.

I would almost give Neofags a pass on this considering they never leave the house, but you just fucking know those jeans have cheetodust, cumstains en masse and spots where they just let the spilled Mountain Dew dry and it got all sticky.

Just a light retarted ban in a retarded thread. Perhaps the mod was angry because the term "walking sim", since this would not be the first time to get someone at Retardera angry because of this term.

Keep in mind that ResetEra has a list of video game tropes and even a list of video games that you're not allowed to talk about there. You can't talk about things like how some video game character is attractive or whatever and you can't talk about some controversial video game (such as Postal 2 or pornographic anime games such as Nekopara) for that matter.

For a video game and pop culture forum you sure can't really talk much about video games on ResetEra anyway lol.

Chris Rock is actually pretty based though. If only George Floyd and Michael Brown followed Chris Rock's advice by the way.
That was in the 90's, a time when people had common sense so most people were based back then compared to today (where everyone is an annoying, self-righteous, easily offended faggot). Is Chris Rock's material still any good today?

I sometimes check out the online play history on sites like Steam or PSN of hardcore forum posters. Many of them have no completed games, barely any hours logged in many games, and some haven't played any games in months. Most of them spend all day on game forums but most of the time is not actually spent talking about games. It's interesting that the gaming industry is catering to loudmouth people with retarded opinions who don't actually play games and use a gaming forum as a way to vent about social justice causes and pretend to be revolutionary badasses from their mom's basements.

I believe he mostly stopped doing stand-up, citing humorless college woketards as the specific reason.

Who the fuck socialized these people lmao
I think we all know that no actual hat was thrown, lol!

These faggots are timid the thought of germs on a totally normal and clean chair is enough to worry them.

I guarantee you that his response to the boomer with the “world to explore” was to stare at the floor while beads of sweat sprang out on his forehead, mumble something unintelligible and wander to the furthest end of the room to escape this unexpected social interaction.

I don't even understand these freaks. How is it even possible to still be mad about shit that happened in high school? What the fuck is wrong with these people? I can't even imagine being mad about shit I don't even remember any more.

At some point, shouldn't people this mentally broken just be put in a home?
