Approaching ex-colleagues has to be done carefully. They are probably inundated with Gamergate bullshit repeatedly. They are also smart enough to stay away from the drama. Emma got ticked because Wu blocked her for an innocuous question, probably forgetting who it was and just impulsively blocking.
It's weird that Wu would ever accuse someone of "lying" since it opens up a giant can of worms, like Wu's many claims of having a degree.

These people need to stop looking at the Alcorn incident so narrow-mindedly.
From what I recall,
Alcorn was a typical teenager, selfish, who thought they knew everything about the world, the parents obviously didn't want their child to make such a rash decision to basically mutilate and ruin their body, so they wouldn't let them go on hormone blockers.
Alcorn killed themself for a selfish cause and to get attention, over something that they could have done when they were older and knew more than what Tumblr says.

That's a fair point. It's just so incredibly interesting every time someone who actually experienced Wu in any "work"-related capacity talks about it because it's so very rare. Just the fact that most, if not all, of Wu's employees are entirely made up at this point makes it a real treat to learn about some actual flesh-and-blood humans that survived slaving away under Wu's command.
Are you implying that Brianna Wu, who attended the University of Mississippi and Millsaps College under the name of John Walker Flynt did not earn any degrees and was only enrolled in classes? Next you'll try to tell me that enrollment lastet 10 years. Oh you...

Singal chimped out pretty hard on Katherine Cross for defaming him, eventually forced an apology out of Cross, and I archived his Twitter before he started burning the tweets of the incident, but I'm pretty sure this incident, while not budging him from believing poorly of GamerGaters, has made him realize the people on the other side of the fence are just as horrible as all the shit he ascribed to GamerGaters if not worse.

He's also become aware that people like Wu and many others of similar ilk will stab him in the back while trying to come off respectful to his face.
He hasn't fully woken up, but he sure as hell isn't as naive anymore, and I think that's still a good thing.
