Well, lets start saying that out of all the people in the council, Deadman is by far the most stupid (this alone should answer all your questions about deadman). Deadman is so exceptional that in one of his recent streams, he claimed that they were sharing underage sexual pictures of Rudy and that he was planning to stay in there to collect more "evidence"... If you go through the logs from the very beginning (while deadman was in there), you can tell that the group was created for axle and daiymo to troll cows (deadman especially, while surfer rejoiced watching).

As for your question, yes deadman blaming the gunt was a stupid attempt to try to grift the alogs... because there was a previous stream where he blamed Daiymo (which actually makes a lot more sense). BTW, with the exception of DJ Axle (furry pedophile) the samurai larper has messed with everyone in that group in the past, as his personal cows including Josh, back when he was simping for @Perspicacity in particular and PPP was @Squire of Gothos content posting.

Yes, it is kind of a mixed bag regarding these logs. The DM group must be seen in the context that it was created by Axle, it is a smaller version of his servers, which follows his same MO, lure some "cows" he can torture (like he did to lumi the 15 years old he groomed and Alandrian, the "poop eater" they convinced to stop taking his meds) for his own sick pleasure and his friends (Surfer and Daiymo in this case). On the other hand you have the cows, Deadman (who was their main target but left the group early because they made it too obvious even for him), Gahoole (a guy desperate for acceptance), Mormon Shaggy (a mentally ill rotten loser) and Rudy Coleman (a degenerate who takes himself too seriously).

You will notice how this second group of cows will share all kinds of personal details, they legit believe they are among friends (Gahoole in particular), meanwhile Surfer remains mostly silent observing, Daiymo and Axle do their gay trolling constantly... At some point much later they will also open up and will share personal details, with the exception of Axle, he will keep his mask as the sick degenerate psychopath he is. So going by their behavior you can tell, that this first group was expecting the DM group to be leaked at any time at least initially, for Axle it never mattered either way and there is a good chance he brought back deadman with the expectation that he would leak it, again for his own sick pleasure.

Nah I didn't actually think that Deadman got fired over this stuff but it just goes to show the kind of stuff he was into, quite a disconnect between that and his day job.
