Trying to appeal to mainland Chinese is a fools errand, and I wish Pippa nothing but the worst.

Japanese isn't too bad, and you can pick up Hiragana within a weeks time if you just take the time. Russian is still easier though as it doesn't have anything like Kanji or Katakana.

I should learn Chinese though.

Well, it's time. It's been a while, but like... stop posting on silly fans who don't know OPSEC and tell me why your oshi is your favorite. I think we could use a little cultural exchange in these trying times, even though @nenes-husband is going to tell me to neck myself for promoting thread unity.

As a hilariously hypocritical gal, I won't talk about my oshi right now. I'll talk about Miss Pippa instead, who's tale is more frankly probably more similar to my story than the tubers in the Big 2 companies. She went from an Idol in Training to a Mega Idol slash Messiah, and that's what vtubing is all about to me, the possibility to turn a life that could have been stuck in the trap that is this 'Merican life into something cool and awesome. I am one of those people that love lots of Vtubers, but the yabbit is special to me as a gal who also lost their way.

Or rate me optimistic! It's all in the spirit of this thread, and this thread is pretty damn fun all things considered.

One and a half year ago everyone was calling Artia Judas. She was more hated than Kiara or Mori ever were, and for a good reason; she was a backstabbing snake. It's just unbelievable that someone with so much awareness of Vtubing as Pippa would still respect her. She also works with Depressed Nousagi, whose crowning work was a documentary that explained the Coco Taiwan incident and how Artia was a major player in the conflict.

Because I feel like she genuinely works very hard and she's entertaining enough on her own to watch, she is savvy and doesn't yab too much, her mild tism is fun to watch unfold, and she doesn't rely on smut or thottery but still has fun. Also she pisses /vt/ off and doesn't afraid of anything.

This is in part why I like Pippa, I had that period of my life where I was broke and just kind of lost, but eventually got my shit together and crawled out of that hole.

That and I think I was starting to think all women were disgusting socialists with no ambition and sense of humor, so finding Pippa when I did was a good reminder that there are people out there like her who have a better world view than the normies in the leftist hellhole I live in now.

Also it's hilarious how he was willing to ruin his life for Pippa yesterday and today he's dumped her for one off comment. Really shows he's not dedicated to the cause.

Other than Pippa, I guess I could say Mori. Autistically hardworking, autistic in general, just the right combination of chuuni and dork, music is entertaining, makes the exact right kind of people mad. Great in collabs with JPs because she gets flustered so easily, every bonebros collab is 10/10. Just wish she was better at actually playing games, but she usually doesn't give me the raw kind of brain damage that some of Pippa's game playthroughs have given me.
