He's a cargo cult "intellectual". He repeats things without understanding why or how. He knows great fantasy books like LOTR or scifi books like Vinge's A Fire Upon The Deep or Robinson's Mars Trilogy have maps in them. He doesn't really understand why they're there, why they might be helpful or anything, he just sees "good books have maps", so he does maps. He sees "xyz in space popular", so he writes abc in space. He doesn't get the why or how. Just monkey see, monkey do. Very little neuron activation. He really, really deserved that 1.2 GPA, all he can do is fake and pretend intelligent thought, but there is no substance behind it.They're waiting for the protagonist to come along and ask to do their chores for them. These people have overdosed on entertainment.
Patrick is going to have a break, and kill his neighbor before finding out "felony telephone harassment" is not life threatening, and therefore didn't justify turning her house into swiss cheese with his gigantic supergun of murderdeath. 5 years and a slap on the pepperoni.
He puts in maps because he knows successful books have maps, not understanding that theres more there than what he sees. I remember KrimsonRogue saying something that especially applies to Pat about just copying success without understanding why that was successful.
Shame Ive always like the guy. FATRICK TOMLINSON has tits like a breeding sow.I’ve got some bad news, everyone.

People mention this but step 1 is actually 'why can't piggy not reply to everyone who sends him a message.'Just out of interest, is there a case in the US, in which someone has actually gone to prison for prank sms?
I exclude actual harassment, for example, sexually abusive, threats of violence and death, even threats of legal action.
Also, why can’t fatrick just change his number?
Surely that would be the sensible and logical move.
I know fatrick is incapable of sense and logic, but surely no one can think that they will win this when the sms have been as sustained, relentless as this, with the perpetrators showing no sign of getting bored or listening to his legal threats?

People that actually try to eliminate harassment from their life would do this. But when you’re a Twitter firebrand I guess it comes with the territory that you don’t take basic steps to get away from this stuff. Also, why can’t fatrick just change his number?
Surely that would be the sensible and logical move.
By and large the police don't bother investigating internet beefs no matter how vitriolic they get. Even when it comes to actual in-person harassment and violence the response from law enforcement is usually just "lol get a restraining order." They're pretty fucking useless at stopping real crime so fat chance Pat's litany of fake crimes will ever get investigated.Just out of interest, is there a case in the US, in which someone has actually gone to prison for prank sms?

The lizard king from fighting fantasy?Oh but little baby child, this isn’t a prank. He’s being stalked by an inter dimensional lizard.
It wasn’t a prank, but Michelle Carter faced legal consequences for encouraging her boyfriend’s suicidal thoughts over text.Just out of interest, is there a case in the US, in which someone has actually gone to prison for prank sms?

He should move to the UK where they only investigate internet beef because it requires no work on their part.By and large the police don't bother investigating internet beefs no matter how vitriolic they get. No, and his insistence on replying to every single one negates any claim of "harassment". It would be a different story if he was legitimately blocking and ignoring, and people were still sending him shitJust out of interest, is there a case in the US, in which someone has actually gone to prison for prank sms?
No, it really wouldn’t. He might have a beef about text messages to his phone [which he put out there of his own free will and has never changed] but he is a public figure, and a highly inflammatory one at that. When you use social media to promote yourself as an alleged writer with a side scam as a social/political commentator, and you spend years making really dumb statements, you bring criticism on yourself. It isn’t anyone else’s fault that he’s so delusional that he thinks criticizing him is a felonious act.No, and his insistence on replying to every single one negates any claim of "harassment".
