He is seriously getting more and more childish and he is just 40. They often say men get more childish when they age. Seems like his mind is right there with his boday (60years+)

On Dave getting a job, with the economy entering a recession I think it's likely that streamers are gonna suffer pretty heavily, it's an industry that grew up during one of the longest bull markets in history, it's never experienced an actual economic downturn before. It's completely reliant on randos having disposable income to throw pennies at people. While some of Dave's whales are on the government tit, so their income is stable but fixed, prices are rising which means they'll have less to support Dave with. I'm not gonna say it's the end of Dave, but his economic outlook ain't looking for great.

Basically, Dave better dust off that resume, get ready to actually enact the ten year plan. Of course the question is who's gonna wanna hire him with a fourteen year employment gap that he spent playing video games and learning zero skills. Like he doesn't even have the ability to edit fuckin videos, the most basic skill a youtuber can have.

He Could, theoretically, get a job. Gaps don't matter when applying for jobs that'll literally hire anyone with a pulse who can fill out an application.

The question is, could he keep that job? Probably not. He lacks social skills, work ethics and his body is falling apart. He'll do something that'll get him fired fast.

I'd suggest Door Dash/Uber driver, but driving on the freeway hurts 'muh back.'

That mocking "HARDCORE MOBILE GAME ENTHUSIAST!!!" doesn't work as an ironic joke when we know almost without a shadow of a doubt he's spent tens of thousands of dollars on it. Ironically it comes off as more of a cry for help then anything. Way to own the trolls epic style Phil!

I usually don't really don't care about idiots on YouTube but for some reason this piece of shit really does my head in , why is YouTube allowing blatant begging? This isn't going to end well for him what happens when the inevitable happens and he no longer begs enough money to survive what has he got to fall back on? imagine his resume it will be a complete Trainwreck

These cringe selfies, frequent name changes and tweets scream 'I'm going through a mid-life crisis and don't know what to do' to me.

He just wants attention from anyone, whether it's dentheads on social media or from us, because he has no one else. No guy friends around his age to talk to, fatass wife who doesn't care about him, parents are probably tired of him at this point.

All he has is Gin, WWE, food and all of us living rent free in his thumb shaped head.

40 y/o!! Let's not forget how much sadder that really is.

"He claims the trolls are trying to hurt him because they can't go after anything controversial because he's somehow a better person now and that they need to concoct wild stories to keep people away from his streams. But why would anyone believe wild stories about an honest YouTuber? They wouldn't. It's Phil's history of dishonesty which makes the "wild stories" the detractors tell plausible. Because he lies so often ("to protect his family!"), people become skeptical of anything he tells them. Especially when he stands to benefit from belief in his version of events"

The whole premise of his 'I changed for the better / my streams have no controversy anymore' is false anyway.

His streams are still full of non-stop, cancerous begging, He's still regularly toxic as fuck towards anybody who commits the slightest infraction all the way down to asking a question that he doesn't like. He still makes cringey slavery jokes about little black kid game characters and talks about smacking 11-year old kids. The statute of limitations might be up because he's 'changed' again since that last one, I'm never sure how far back into his history we're supposed to disregard on the basis of him being a new man.

Other than his tweets, he doesn't have a documented presence outside of his streams, so most of the criticism of him and the examples of him being an asshole are FROM his supposedly 'chill, non-controversial' streams that are nothing like they used to be in the past. You know, those really 'chill' streams where as far back as... Wednesday... he has half hour meltdowns about the 'mentally ill literal pieces of shit' detractors.

When he has a respectable stretch of time where he:

1. ACTUALLY ignores the detractors instead of having endless rants about how much he ignores them and how little he cares about what they say

2. Only mentions the ways you can support him once at the end of his 'podcast' (maybe once more after he gets back from his mid-stream break) instead of keeping track of when somebody last gave him money down to the exact minute

3. Doesn't at any point mention any of his financial issues that are his own problem and nobody elses

4. In line with no 2 and 3, removes the obscene tip goals and expectation of $300 every day just for general things that, when asked about, are said to be 'none of your business'. He could maybe be allowed visible goals in a situation where it's a one day thing for something very specific

5. Since we're not in kindergarten and most people have outgrown 'pull my finger' kinds of 'humor', he shows some fucking courtesy and, even if he's not going to mute his mic, at least turns away or attempts to cover up his snorting and belching instead of purposefully doing it right into his microphone and then saying, 'Oh, god, that was disgusting!'

6. A lot more shit I'm forgetting

When he's done all that, he can claim to have changed, but it'd still only be on a probationary basis.

Honestly what he is doing with the twitter name change and even the half-admission rant is the best thing he could probably do (well, quitting streaming/drinking/gambling and getting a real job is the best thing, but we know that's not gonna happen): go full throttle with the gas-lighting and cult (persecuted by the outside world) thing. He has nothing to offer but smoke and mirrors, so might as well up his smoke and mirrors game.

He might as well make Pina Coladas with the little umbrella and get tipsy, while claiming it's a virgin non-alcoholic Pina Colada. Basically take more and bigger pisses on his dents' velcro shoes while telling them it's raining; all the while claiming anyone who says different is some kind of mentally ill bully.

Hey Phil, just wondering: why didn't you put "DSP The HARDCORE WWE Champions Enthusiast"? Why keep using "mobile game", when it's pretty clear which game you're whaling on?

Or even better, why don't you change your name to DownFromTheRafters?
