The video theorized Mumei was behind the plague in the 1300's, the Hindenburg disaster, the space shuttle Challenger explosion.

The issue was probably the Challenger since many Gen-X were scared by watching it explode live in their classroom.

I doubt that's an intentional reference to the Challenger, since Challenger blew up during flight (so did Columbia) and the video shows a shuttle blowing up while still on the launchpad. That could be why no one saw an issue before it went live. I know I didn't.

Engineers who tried to stop the Challenger from going up believed it was going to explode on the launch pad....it went further than they thought.

Columbia disintegrated during re-entry, not from launch. There was also a Soyuz rocket in 1983 that blew up on the pad but the escape system triggered to save the cosmonauts.

I think the girls would collectively throw their weight around if that happened. Kanauru didn't do anything wrong here, from my perspective. The dude has enabled way too much good content for them and is pretty much the sole reason the state-side girls are able to put out any serious 3D content.

As for Kanauru, he flew too close to the sun. If he isn't blacklisted by Cover then his creative freedom is 100 percent done when it comes to working on official Hololive projects. The project that was Watame wants is going to be super sanitized, that is if it happens at all Mumei also was just way too hands off about this video creation. It would have been fine if it was on his channel, but making it an official video there was some lines that couldn't really be crossed.

Pippa is experiencing her own little Amepoclypse right now. It'll be forgotten in a week or two. If Zax is what is suggested then I hope Pippa got out of that, or does so.

As a follow up to slutpuppies, what a fucking name, question about oshis - what are some vtuber assets, attributes or rigging tricks that ya'll like?

An example would be Pippa's eye dilation or Korone's tree head.

- Calli's darting eyes - it's probably more of a tracking bug than a feature but I find it funny
- Fubuki and Botan's ear twitches
- Korone's cake head, which I don't think she's used since her birthday for obvious reasons but lol again
- Reine's mouth tracking is particularly smooth for a Holo and has been mentioned before

I don't watch a ton of male ASMR stuff besides ASMR Zeitgeist for the sheer production value he brings to his videos and Japanese Shampoo ASMR because that dude is just funny (and he brings cute girls on). I gravitate towards female for obvious reasons but even the ones that start out good seem to slowly slip into this stuff. My favorite that's still holding the line against the coom is Coromo Sara. She's great.

Think first time I saw a trigger warning from a vtuber.

The TW format is new to me, but back when Needy Girl Overdose was the meta, a number of Holos pinned content warnings.

ECHO cover by Tenjin Kotone and Reine, premiering in 8 hours.

This was not a pair I expected to see. I like it a lot though. Have they done much else together?

- I like that Mumei's merch is all on-brand and functional. I do not know whether we are cursed or blessed that there was no budget for taxidermy owls.
- Koyori's eigo surprised me again. I don't know where she got "canine" because she couldn't pronounce it, but she quickly switched to "dog group" and that worked. It's not a subject I would expect to come up in the average eikaiwa lol.
- It was only fair for Cover to allow Sana's pre-recorded message. Mumei would be the only member of COPE to celebrate a birthday without Sana otherwise, and that less than a week after the graduation. You could tell Mumei muted herself to cry. I hope Sana also recorded something for Council's first anniversary, but I wouldn't bet on it, and continued cameos have longer odds.
