LMAO this nigga really demanded an apology from Review Tech USA or else he can fuck off, the apology fetish he has is hilarious to me, does he need to apologize in a email like detractors that want to be unbanned? His 3 inch penne gets hard at the idea of people begging him for mercy.

That was two years ago, these days Phil is a nice, positive chill streamer since his wife cured his depression, alcoholism and mobile game addiction...

do you think Phil could catch a baseball with a baseball glove and throw it back on point? lol
He couldn't catch ass if it was gently handed to him. Speaking of ass, found a new video where he clearly doesn't pick up on nympho Leanna desperate for some kind of man to take her but he's too busy giddily vlogging.

He is right. Dsp is an expert in begging, he knows everything about it! /sneed

But srsly... this is really fucked up, especially that its coming from dsp

Phil seems to now mention that the Casey Jones figure he got was after Shredders Revenge game that came out.

A fan donated it of course...on the el cheapo I'm sure.

edit: My god just amplifies how shitty his set up it is. It is so trashy. Get a bookshelf you fuckin loser.
bookshelf? empty boxes of gaming consoles work just fine with a towel as a drape cloth

phil needs instant gratification and needs to win as easily as possible. i guarantee he whaled out as much as possible.

To get technical in why I think he actually didn't spend that much (well, relatively speaking), and forgive me but this may get very boring, I'd categorize his account's "assets" into 5 categories - completely arbitrary and for my explanation's sake:

That would be custom gears (this is not to say there are non-custom gear, that's just part of the name), ISO-8, Urus, etc. - items you equip on characters. Each character must have their own set.

There are very much ways to whale for those, but DSP didn't; We can tell that for a fact because all of it on his account simply suck (not only in the way he uses them but in their quality, almost none of it is maxed out - some of his highest ranked character straight up do not have any in some slots) and do not include the kind you can get by whaling.

Gold is needed for basically everything in the game, but is actually not very scarce if you have spent a bit of money on the game because after spending about 10$ on the game, you'll immediately unlock the ability to get about 2 millions extra a day, which will, unless you joined in late and need to play catch up, be amply enough - and even then, you'll catch up relatively quickly.

Since we know Phil has spent money on this game well in excess of the required amount, this was not an issue for him - besides, as I said, he didn't upgrade the vast majority of his stuff, cutting on his gold expenses quite majorly.

This is the cost listed in the Reddit thread linked in the post I answered to, in addition to a few other kinds of various "tiers", differences being mostly irrelevant - they're all essentially passively farmed. The thing is that DSP did not pay all that many of those costs because the more expensive an upgrade is, the fewer of DSP's characters have received it.

To me this says he upgraded them the regular way and got bottlenecked; You can even find some of his character only partially upgraded, which would be odd if he did whale out to do it. My opinion is he didn't pay for those.

These cost crystal (some cost gold but that's because they're obsolete); Normally, 1750 (those for like 5 characters top cost 2500 instead, but that's pretty negligible), but there are monthly 40% sales plus the same 40% sale for new uniforms when they are released, meaning unless you're really dumb, they cost 1050 crystals a piece.

Uniforms released (it's increased since he left) at a rate of 3-4 uniforms a month (technically, 5 weeks, but let's be generous) on average, and you get 1140 monthly crystals for logging in and doing daily quests, plus a weekly amount depending on your PvP ranking - let's ignore that part because he sucked and for the sake of the argument.

That means he needed to buy about 3 000 crystals a month, except there is a special deal for getting 2450 crystals over the course of a month for 3.99$; The missing 610-or-so crystals can always (as in, there are occasionally better deals, but for argument's sake, let's not consider them) be bought for 5-7$ depending on the amount you buy them in - obviously, the higher, the better the deal. This means that uniforms would cost about 10$ a month top - 120$ a year, sorry for making that simple a calculation.

To fully upgrade a character, you first need to recruit it; To do this, you must get a small amount (10 or 20) of their biometrics (for X-Men characters, X-Genes - completely mechanically equivalent).

Most characters are simply farmable; There are mission you can play that will give you 10 of their biometrics a day, and you'll get them to 6 stars in about 2 months of daily farming - note you can farm them all concurrently. Then you'll need about another month of farming to get them to tier 2 (This is totaling about 900 biometrics), and that's where the vast majority of his character have stopped.

Some are semi-farmable; They can be farmed but either take trickery or an insane amount of patience - we'll assume neither option was chosen by Phil. The alternative is to recruit them (easy, again this takes like 10 or 20 of the stuff) and then use tickets (items that automatically rank-up a character from a rank to the next, or even straight to 6 stars, the maximum, or skip part of/the entire T2 upgrade process) to rank them up; Tickets are given away somewhat regularly, you can rank up a few characters that way every year, but semi-farmable characters are also pretty rare themselves (I think there were maybe 10 total released over the course of the game, several of which were not when Phil quit), so all in all, this likely did not pose much problem to Phil.

Then there are premium characters whose biometrics can only be acquired by paying a subscription (the one for "regular" characters and mutants are different, but that's pretty much irrelevant); You could technically buy a single subscription of each (9.99$ for 600-or-so biometrics total, to spread mostly however you want between characters) to unlock every premium characters and then rank them up solely via tickets, but it's unlikely Phil did that.

That's likely where most of his money went since he has almost all of them upgraded to tier 2; That's about 15$ a pop' assuming no ticket use (which he definitely should have done and maybe even did), and there were about (I checked and guesstimated when he quit without checking exactly) 25 when he quit, let's say 30 for the sake of the argument; That'd be 450$ tops.

All in all, assuming he played for 2 years - I'd be sad if I played that much and was still so sh#t at it, so probably pretty good guess - and going worst-case scenario, that'd put his spending at about 870$, which is actually closer to a grand than I thought, but again, this was a completely worst-case scenario (no income from PvP, decent but not optimal purchases, very little ticket use to save on the biggest expense).

Feel free to rate this autistic, I just thought it may be better to correct the idea he also spent thousands on another game since it's extremely unlikely he spent even a single thousand; You know how Phil is whenever we're wrong.

Something that is worth mentioning, and that may answer a question people could find themselves asking if they've read all that, along the lines of "Where's the gacha ? Everything you've described doesn't allow you to spend an infinite amount of money", is that the game actually does feature gacha, but for the stuff Phil didn't engage in, namely the whole character equipment thing (plus cards - account-wide buffs; If you see his account, you'll actually see a premium card, but it's one that's a free reward for getting and upgrading a particular uniform).

It's probably because Phil wasn't interested in the combat system (I would hope that he wasn't, at least, or his utter failure at understanding it is truly staggering) and not out of some principle, though, but I thought it did bear mentioning. And though that does mean he was able to somewhat control his spending, since he only did on the collecting aspect, supposedly the only thing that interested him, and ignored the rest, it makes me wonder just how much Phil actually likes Marvel stuff; He always gave me the impression to be at best non-plussed by it, which would make his spending of hundreds of dollars on collecting the characters in a mobile game still very excessive and speak as to his lack of restriction when it comes to spending. Or maybe he really does like Marvel stuff, all the way from the Wolverine figurine, who knows.

He stacks all his toys like a kid stacking his action figures all over his room. He probably thinks this is how other streamers decorate their rooms but in reality his setup looks like a hoarders home. Not surprised he has no idea of setting up his toys, hell just look at his old condo videos where he had his toys all over the place. This man lacks an ounce of an artistic eye, and this fucker calls himself a content creator.

If he got some shelves, painted his wall or added some posters his setup would look less childish and at least a bit more mature. I give him until the holidays before he actually sets his crap up better since he decorates his room for the holidays. Even then I think it will be a poor setup.

Yeah he's probably patting himself on the back when he said he got rid of those statues like he took a stand and grew up, but then regresses back to using 15 year old bobblehead toys that are the equivalent to Funko Pops and displaying them on a handicart with cloth near empty videogame boxes....

It's pathetic and sad. Less is more and it makes you miss the loveseat and bare strip of white below his soundproof. This set up is loud and obnoxious and screams white trash. Dude can't even display physical games because he owns all digital. His set up is so ass because he physically and metaphorically backed himself into a corner and no room to breathe.

*Like here is a fuckin Borderlands merchant statue/bobblefuckthing, but I don't really know or care but I'll put it up behind me. Fuckin' really nigga? Just throwing everything he has up at this point.

Each of those racks holds about 50 Blu-ray's and there are 7 racks. If you assume he spent an average of $10 per Blu-ray that's $3.5k in movies/TV shows. If you assume an average cost of $15 that's $5.25k. He probably hasn't watched 98% of them. Every single one of his condo/house tours is a demonstration of how much of a wasteful consoomer he is. No wonder he stopped doing them.

Btw, there's even more Blu-rays in the bins.
