Discord is awful we all know that but the question that should be asked is why? What causes discord to be infected with so many trannies, groomers, and feds?
 
Discord has always been degenerate. They are right next to 4chan in terms of anticensorship so its gonna attract the worst kinds of speech.
 
Discord gives the illusion of being 'private' which even older internet forums didn't tend to have, since at least parts of their pages could be accessed without membership 90% of the time. Of course, this isn't true, especially when any of their admins can look into any server, and people can gain access to private servers with just one key.

It’s the type of users Discord originally targeted that’s the problem, the socially outcast, the weird, gamers, especially people of the younger variety.

So what you got was this huge melting pot of some of the most poorly adjusted people to ever exist, a generation poisoned by the internet.

Pedos showed up because of children, and trannies? That’s just gen zed being gen zed and some older sex pests taking advantage of them.

Feds? If I were a fed I’d be on discord too. Where better to target unstable children and influence them to do bad things?

The worst part of discord is it has the illusion of privacy, so people are way more open in discord servers about messed up stuff. Say what you will about twitter, people know everything they post there will be seen by the world.

It's ran by degenerates, which doesn't help but the clientele is innately problematic.

There are gamers with careers and stable family lives. And they are silent and unnoticeable for the most part.

There is what feels like a majority of them however that are NEETs, deviants and hikikomori. And this goes for almost every gaming scene I've heard of.

The only one I can think of that doesn't seem to have this issue is the Sims; and that's purely because it's staffed by angry cat ladies and LGBTQYZXI instead.

It's just a market with a userbase that has always been traditionally unhealthy to start with

Anything that is based around gaming is going to attract trannys and groomers which then attracts feds.
1 + 1 = 2, 2 + 1 = 3, etc.
 
I sometimes think about the intention of Discord, which seems like an evolution of the Official [Game] Forums, and how badly they lost the plot. Honestly they should've restricted server creation and moderation to actual companies with employees, because letting any two-bit Jack (She/They) or Jill, She-Wolf of the SS start a private little fiefdom was a huge mistake.
 
Because it went from a Curse Voice/Skype replacement to use with your gamer friends into being advertised & used by "communities" suffering the same consequences that previous community driven online chatrooms of yesteryear had. It's simply the newest iteration with a few fun twists that make it much easier for predators to exploit. One, it has a complicit left-y retard owners who are happy to turn a blind eye. Two, it allows for servers to set up tiered permissions so you can have layer after layer of hidden voice/video chats in an otherwise unassuming server. Just like we've seen here in the leaked keffals server where they used the web api to show all the normally hidden channels where they groom their victims. Those two things together coupled with the normification of the internet and you have a real problem on your hands.

I would say back in its early years (2015-17) the main people that used discord were people fed up with Skype and Google Hangouts. By then most subreddits adopted discord as their main go-to pad for instant messaging and the rest was history. All roads lead to reddit as they say.
