I scent an album release coming in the near future. Her songs are not my cup of tea but I do appreciate her vocal range and control a lot, and Yggdrasil is super neat in a Shallys kind of way.

All of Gen 3 doing collabs with each other a lot lately, and are having weekly collabs this month in the format of "How well do you know this person?" where the channel host ask questions and have the other three answer. Gen 3 to me always has the nicest vibe to them in Hololive so it's so good to see them together again after Rushia left.

My network fucked up so it posted twice so might as well shill for my favorite indie (kind of). I saw Ikinone Tomeru's name brought up a while back in the thread but she's one of the most unhinged vtubers in my opinion (in a good way). She's a 27-something Vtuber in DWU's Shinsogumi vtuber collective. (I think some here may have seen her with Nijis in the past).

Her life story is quite something, having to deal with her mother controlling every aspect of her life and even trying to evict her out of her current room. Her herself is also one big mess, who got into Shinsogumi through Namahoshi who's in the group already without any knowledge of what vtubing is. In one of her very first streams she copied Gura because that was the result of her research about popular vtubers lol. She has really grown over the couple of months with some streams even reaching 5k concurrent. I fucking love this woman because she really pushes what vtubing can be, like going to a dinosaur running event, or camping IRL, or a IRL Landlord totsumachi (don't want to pay rent edition). I think this is what creative freedom really means.

In any case, I doubt the management has any influence on Gura's collab outside the EN branch. Despite being the most subbed, she still has the least amount non-EN collabs. You would think management would try to "encourage" or "pressure" her to collab more outside the EN branch so her fans can be exposed to others. Not that I think there is anything wrong with this, she shouldn't have to subject herself to more responsibility just for being the most popular.
