Wings did say he left a cat in a closed container and only remembered it several years later. However, there’s been instances where he claimed it was a joke and this never happened.

Considering how Wings acts, I believe the story to be true and he only denied it after considering the backlash he received. Admittedly, denying something is uncharacteristic of him, he usually doubles down. Case in point, his opinion on the age of consent.

I'm thinking of the one he said he "accidentally" left trapped under a five gallon bucket. He said was like ten when this happened, so definitely old enough to understand what the fuck he was doing. The best part was him starting with 2vs2, losing 3-5 matches and then running to FFA.
There he lost the first couple of games and then went into full on tryhard mode where he ran away from his opponnents until they were at high damages and he could knock them out.
Someone in the chat asked him why he won't play 1v1s and he argued that there is no point because the game is "balanced for 2v2s which they even play competitively at EVO".

So he basically said there is no point in playing 1v1 because the game's main focus is in 2v2s all while he was playing FFAs the whole stream
