To be fair, would you want to remember this time period if you were Becky? Sure, she could be out there making memories/ doing things worth remembering, but as sad as it is, I’m not sure she even knows how to do that on her own.

It's really weird because it's clear she knows her existence is miserable. I don't think she realizes just how or why she's miserable due to the lack of normal human behaviors. My theory is she's 1 IQ point above being a legal retard, which is cruel and ironic since disability payments are the equivalent of extreme success to her.
She has a completely broken mechanism to cope with life and the current trajectory ONLY goes down.
No doubt she's got severe depression, but hers is one that could be successfully treated (to an extent) by being a "normal" human.
