Some thoughts and comments:
"Ponderings and Plights" is a fantastic title. If it were anyone else I'd think he was trying to show he was in on the joke. And the thumbnail picture from FreeStockImages.net is really the finishing touch.
People gave me advice for 5 years that if I ignore these trolls, the trolls would go away. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.
Correction: "People gave me advice for 5 years that if I ignore these trolls, the trolls would go away. So I engaged with the trolls constantly, and they didn't go away! How could this happen!"
The lawyers representing me have been gracious enough to represent me at below market rate because they agree that the site harassing me is bad and needs to cease its activities of tormenting people.
Aren't Grimm and the other guy at the Internet Freedom Institute or whatever they're called representing Russ for free? Am I mistaken? I guess free is technically "below market rate."
In all honesty, I think I owe 30 percent liability for attracting these people. They retain the rest of the 70 percent.
That's an unheard of level of self-awareness by Russell's modest standards.
I will straight up admit: I’m not a perfect person. I’ve done things that weren’t calculated fully. I’ve done things that I regret and could have gone about differently. But the past is exactly that: it’s the past. I have the right to not be a prisoner to it. And I refuse to be a prisoner to it.
If this were followed by changed behavior, it would be great. And maybe for Russ the past really could be the past. But we all know he's going to keep spamming girls on Instagram, filing deranged, frivolous lawsuits and generally acting like a rabid dog.
I absolutely reject cancel culture. I hate this notion where any misunderstood thing a person does must be a death sentence.

Their actions have made me question recently if my life matters. If my existence as a person matters.

When those words are used to doxx your family and your adolescent nephews and nieces, it matters.
Please forgive me if this has been established and I just have amnesia about it, but -- has there been any discussion of Russell's nieces and nephews in this thread at all, beyond passing mentions of their existence? When the hell have we ever done anything resembling doxxing Russell's nieces and nephews? Have their names even been used in the thread? I don't think that saying "So-and-so has nieces and nephews" counts as doxing.
I’ve made mistakes, but nothing terribly wrong or bad. To anyone affected by my mistakes, I do apologize.
Does that include Erika? Do you apologize to her? Or is she still a "mentally ill woman" who "blew up" on you for no reason?
No amusingly eccentric typos, though there are plenty of unremarkable typos and other little errors.
In short, Russell admits he has made mistakes in the past (though he doesn't admit to anything specific) and says he is different now. I'm sure I speak for most people in the thread when I say that I would happily stop calling attention to Russell and mocking him if he stopped behaving like a demented rapist and started behaving like a civilized human being.
