In Jeanette's case it's bottle color.
In the twins' case, I'll just say it is extremely common for babies to be born with lighter pigmentation which darkens as they mature into adults.

Lighting from below is nightmarish and ugly and it lights up his crazy eyes, makes the robotic affectation so much worse. I don't get how he doesn't realize this when he lives with cameras and takes vanity shots constantly.
