The "every streamer is like Phil" excuse is one of the most retarded copes the paypigs make. No, Phil isn't like every streamer, or like most. There's a fine line between plugging ways that people support you, and guilt tripping, lying, playing mind games and manipulating people into giving you money. And then being pretentious enough to have a preference of how you'd like to receive your money. All while producing "content" that's a whole lot worse than "every streamer". Are there retard streamers? Of course. But not many as greasy as the gacha monster
I came across a phrase recently that best describes, DSP. Toxic Positivity. Its annoying and disgusting how much this applies to him, not only him but his dentheads. The Jaydes, the Derish. They praise every goddamn thing DSP does and DSP with his constant buzzwords of being chilled, relaxed, positive, supportive, vibe, stream. They can't think for themselves, literally. Its like they say how retards and babies are attracted shiny objects and obviously kid stuff. DSP is the shiny object doing kid like stuff for a bunch of retards.
Phil is the guy that wants the intellectuals, the gais that have actual deep and meaningful contributions to games and reviews, hell, he sees AVGN as an "inspiration" but lacks any nuance in developing a character in tune with personal opinions and comments about such subjects, that's not even solely video games but also movies and pop culture..
But because he has the Dents who sporadically and somehow support him by living well off does he hate them for not being intellectual but actual retards like Derich who just Autistically repeats the same question over and over, albeit in different ways after 3 attempts to get his attention and validation..
Yes Phil is the shiny kid that tards look up to, but who wants that kind of fan if you want mainstream attention and fame?
Well Phil clearly does but fails to notice that Machinima was gullible enough to hire with Rambo and Howard, and I'll be honest, Howard has a geeky adult voice but with Rambo they make an excellent duo with good content and even on the podcast talking about Phil they are or to me sound dudes what could make gaming even more interesting to normies, but still keep the engagement of the fans who stuck with them from the start
There's nothing innately interesting about Phil, because he doesn't attach a form of genre that develops healthy relationships and also a sense of camaraderie amongst gamers..
Phil..
Is just there..
Made his presence known, and yet gets shat on from the highest powered players of EVO and even trashed his shit 4th place as a result of bad gaming and yet fuelling an ego only retards appreciate
I've always said this is the audience deserves, and should be grateful they're even loyal enough that they don't have to think logically or something that uses questions to wonder why Phil lies or just doesn't acknowledge stuff like the shower...
Still, even if slow days are slow days, the entertainment is him wondering why Dents aren't tipping the Valedictorian of YouTube and the 4th Place tahp US player of EVO d00d...
Nah, the IRS expansion is mainly to go after crypto. I doubt the $600 taxable threshold will effect him at all, that's mainly going to screw eBay sellers and the like.
LOL. You actually believe that? Politically sperging here now I guess. The government can and will abuse this and anyone who thinks they won't hasn't woken up to the reality of the world yet.
Phil's boned in the long run considering he's already on the tax watch list.

Believe what? Please explain how reporting requirements for transactions above $600 will effect DSP's taxes?
[EDIT: for those who don't understand, DSP already exceeded Paypal, Youtube and Twitch's $20k or whatever annual threshold so they were already issuing him 1099's. This would only effect payment services who weren't already reporting his income and there aren't any]
The reason why he was banned from the Shoyukin forums is because he went off on a tangent trying to explain how GGPO netcode works to the programmer who made it.
So someone already linked this Memology video and reacted to it, and I initially passed it thinking I already knew what it was about, but holy shit. This was dumber than I thought, and I might have even lost a few braincells listening to Phil's hot take on Smash and fighting games by extension. He also jerks off Multiversus to some extent like the consoomer that he is, and I'm willing to bet that the only reason Phil is standing up for this game is because you can use microtransactions to skip the grind, so he doesn't have to earn his way up the ranks for certain characters like you would, say, Tekken 7 or Street Fighter.
A majority of the video is just begging for likes and begging for engagement and foisting unnecessary levels of responsibility on wheelchairs, but once again, it's the fighting game related shit that got me to do this shit again.
"I played Multiversus last night! I'm having a great TIME with Multiversus! Last night I used Bug Bunny; I think he's a superb character... in Multiversus. I got a TON of wins, I leveled my Battle Pass a ridiculous amount, got a bunch of unlocks-"
I admit I didn't play Multiversus on release, but I saw a few matches and thought it was okay. That being said, I found it very odd that DSP is fellating the fuck out of this game. Initially I thought that it's only because he was really trying to shill for engagement and tips and donations by talking up how good he's doing, and that'd be right. But I really think it's because this specific game allows for microtransactions to skip the grind for costumes and emotes and whatnot. And to Phil, unlocking things is a testament to being good at a game. I know it's odd to word, but that's how I see it.
Also something to note, Bugs Bunny is listed in the current Multiversus tier list as the fourth best character in the game, which is further evidence that DSP tier whores when he doesn't know/ doesn't bother to learn fighting games. Oh-Eighter, indeed.
"BUT! The suhport for Multiversus has not been good!"
This is a point that's already been beaten to death on this website, but what the fuck else do you want fans to do, Phil? Wheelchairs drop dime on you on a regular basis, they like the videos and leave generic-as-all-fuck comments afterward. What more can they do after that?
If this is Phil urging his fans to increase the engagement to bump him up on the search results, then it's already too late because deleting your videos all those years ago prevented you from every rising above where you are now. And even if your fans were gung-ho enough to do everything in their power to increase engagement, then here's your daily dose of reality, Phil: when you type "Multiversus Playthrough" on YouTube, these are the tope two videos that I see:
500,000 views and 870,000 views. Good luck trying to beat that, Phil. Face it, Phil, your channel is dying, and you're to blame for that. Telling your dwindling fanbase to like and comment on your videos is not unlike a ship captain telling his crew to fix a sinking ship with a box of band-aids.
"People are saying Smash sucks when the game has a GIANT Competitive Community and a GIANT viewer-base. Whudda you talking about, that's like the WORST explanation in my life!"
I'm highlighting this in particular because I'm going to get back to it in a minute, but trust me, it gets hilarious.
[RETARDED STAMMERING] And-and, uh the worst explanation in my life, it's a kid's game [SHAKES FLAPPING JOWLS] Seriously... and you know what? Then every game's a fucking kid's game!"
I know what he's getting at, but it sounds really retarded coming out of his mouth. Also, again, Phil defending Smash is going to get hilarious in a minute. We're getting there, guys.
"Anuuther peepul say 'Well, Smash is better!' Alright, you can argue that Smash is better, that's your SUBJECTIVE opinion-"
And here we go. So what's the objective one, then, Phil? That Multiversus is a better game? Are you going to site any evidence? Is this a quote you read somewhere? Who is saying to counter argument to Smash being a better game? What website did you find it at? Care to elaborate?
...
And he does... poorly.
"To which I counter SMASH IS DONE!"
And this is what had me rolling. Motherfucker goes out of his way defending Smash just to say that the reason everybody according to Phil is dropping the game is because it's 'done'. DSP, you just got done saying that Smash has a 'GIANT COMPETITIVE COMMUNITY' and a 'GIANT VIEWER-BASE', but because Multiversus came out, everybody in the Smash community is pulling the chute and playing Multiversus?
Nigga, what? This fucking gave me whiplash! You mean to tell me, Smashboard mods were like "Fuck it! Close the website! Smash is dead guys! We need to turn this into a MULTIVERSUS website! Call that nigga Hungrybox and tell him he's not playing the REAL fucking shit!" Holy fuck, this is so fucking retarded! EVERY fighting game related hot-take he has is just garbage, dude! Right up there with his views on rollback netcode! And he wonders why everyone in the FGC dumped his ass! My fucking sides!
"Smash Brothers is done, there's no new khantent for it! EVER!"
Phil, Street Fighter 2 Super Turbo hasn't had "new content" for over 20 fucking years, nearing 30. So why do you play it?
I'll answer for you: because even though that game has no new content, the community for that game is still going strong. In the case of Super Turbo, that game is (to this day) still played in the US (particularly the East Coast and parts of the West Coast) and Japan, and some parts of, like South America? The game is still played, even by new players. But by Phil's logic, that game doesn't matter and no one should play it because that game has no new content.
Smash Ultimate's latest major tournament was nine days ago? Should I just hit up its winner, Kagaribi 8, take their fucking trophy, and tell them that their game doesn't matter and to drop Smash and play Multiversus? WOW, DOOD!
"Until they make a new game years and years into the future, THERE'S NO SMASH!"
Because heaven forbid they can't just play Smash Ultimate in the meantime. What is even this logic?
There is no current future for the game except play Smash over and over and over!"
I mean, shit, it's not like a Smash player could, and I know this is a novel concept, play something else until the new game comes out?
I fucking hate Leffen with a passion, and I'm glad he has a thread here, but one thing I will give him he made the right call in moving on to other fighting games when he was getting bored of Smash. From my recollection, I think he plays Strive and DBFZ (he tried Tekken and was fucking awful at it). Branching out to new games is not impossible for Smash players, since there's an entire plethora of fighting games to choose from.
But I guess in Phil's life, your fighting game journey is pre-ordained. You can only play your respective game until it dies a slow death, then drop off the face of the earth entire to wallow in shame and longing for the past... you know, like Phil did.
"Multiversus is EXCITING! It JUST STARTED!"
Until that game eventually runs out of khantent and Phil can tell Multiversus players that the game is dead, there's no Multiversus until they make a new one, and that the only current future for it is to play it over and over and over.
See how retarded that is? Phil's ravings against Smash can be applied to any game and sound just as dumb.
"People are figuring the game out, it's being rebalanced, there will be tons of new khantent, you're basically talking, like, a game that's no literally RETIRED. alright, because there's no new khantent, and will stay the same forever, is the same as the game that JUST FUCKING CAME OUT and is in it's formative states right now!"
Isn't that like EVERY fighting game that just came out on it's first couple of days? How is this any different, Phil? He also seems to judge the playability of the game based on how much extra shit is in it, like costumes and unlockables. If Phil is operating off this logic, why isn't he playing Tekken 7, or Dead or Alive? Those games have tons of costumes and extra shit. But he's not playing them.
Again, DSP is shilling this hard because he wants people to attend his Multiversus game, and he wants his fans to be there because he sees himself as "good" at the game. He'd be singing a whole different tune if he was getting bodied.
"For a fighting game player like me-"
You aren't one, Phil, fuck you. Don't hang flags you barely earned, faggot. You're a scrub. We gave you that title when you laughed you out of the East Coast.
"-This game is super exciting!"
THAT'S a subjective opinion. I think it's average, at best. Some of the mechanics go a bit too hard, no blocking leaves out a lot of defensive options, and even 2v2 can get too chaotic to watch. I say it's... decent. Not good, not great, but I'd play it to fuck around with friends. I just wouldn't see myself watching this in a big tournament. Hell, I skipped this game when it was at EVO. It just doesn't appeal to me.
"Maybe if you're someone like... only played Smash or followed Smash over the years 'Oh, I'm sad cuz this might take up the title of the platformer fighting game from Smash', YEAH! It's going to!"
Now at this point I'm gonna stop because this shit is long enough, but this here is just straight-up fellating. Again, motherfucker'll be singing w whole different tune once people start getting good at the game and he can't get carried in 2v2s anymore. He'll call the game shit, and the mechanics broken, then drop the game like it's hot and run right the fuck back to Super Turbo.
Phil, just... never talk about fighting games again. Every take of yours is just shit. You're fucking lucky that big-named players don't give a shit about you, because so many people would have blown you the fuck out. Phil was so busy begging for views and engagement that he ended up jerking off a game he ultimately doesn't give a fuck about, other than the fact that it has microtransactions that allow him to skip the grind. If that game had the kind of ranking system SF has and was more 1v1 focused, Phil would have jumped ship days ago. It's just hilarious how he goes so hard defending a game and its community, just to call it shit because the game he's streaming is clearly superior. Oh my fucking God, dude
Maybe I misheard Phil, but did he just say that all the money raised today, tomorrow, and Wednesday is going straight to his day off? Did this motherfucker really say he needs $900 for his day off?

Phil is so fucking desperate (gee, what a surprise) for something organic to strike with his viewers again. He tried to artificially recreate the vest streak again and that flopped. Then we had the chain spins, the fucking Skittles, the jeans, etc. but they've all bombed. And now we have this ALL BECAUSE of his dentheads tossing him money at the very end of the stream. Unless he manages to get his dents to go along with it behind the scenes, it'll flop. Cue to "you wanted this" chiding and pity party.

It's so hilariously stupid how Phil is so dense that he can't get over himself to play games that his viewers want. It has to all be about his enjoyment. All the while, he's telling his viewers what they want to see. What a fucking putz.
He mentionned wanting to try a BigMac, McChicken and Quarter Pounder and compare them. 550 + 450 + 450 ish calories, so almost 1.5k calories in a meal. Add to that the daily Gin intake and he is over the recommended calorie limit for the day (about 2K for his "active, power walking" lifestyle).
