One explanation is that the people with the lowest self-esteem and body image issues seem to be at higher risk for falling for the tranny propaganda. Trooning out will fix all of their mental health issues!
Another explanation is that once you have your sexual organs removed, you lose an important organ that contributed majorly to your normal hormone regulation. This may make one more prone to gaining weight. Also, without the option of sexual pleasure the spayed/neutered tranny often turns to food for comfort and pleasure as substitute.
… Aaaaand lastly, it seems to me like there are a good amount of lazy, slobbish troons out there who maybe turned to trooning out as an easy fix for all their problems in life.

Day late but funny you mention the animal thing. My friend has a 2 year old dog was only recently just neutered because the breed shows a higher chance of cancer and death when neutered sooner. That's contrary to most other breeds, which have health benefits from being neutered earlier on.
So basically we have more research about what cutting the nuts off different breeds of dogs do than we do humans, yet human nut cutting is endorsed

Mild pl - I have known many TIFs in the past (BC - before Caitlyn ha). Before 2014 or so, medical professionals had to use more stringent measures before just handing out hormones. Therapists had to actually rule out other mental illnesses to some extent. (In my honest opinion I would say most TIFs have OCD, probably a form of bipolar, an eating disorder, and a very very high probability of having been molested.) While these lazy ass therapists never really treat the OCD, they did use to make TIFs have a lower BMI (still like, 31-32 lmao). Anorexics/low BMI TIFs also had to recover to at least a healthy level (so I guess this is above 18.5).
As well, in the past they didn’t just give plastic surgeries to fatasses. TIFs used to run and lift to try to approximate a male build. Modern ones just are going for a Peter Griffin look, ig.
Side sperg, plastic surgeries obviously should be done at lower weights to reduce the risk of dying on the table. But obesity also makes healing difficult with very long scars. Most of these obese women are bound to get revision surgeries due to “dog ears” (pockets of skin that heal poorly due to… not sure, but scars just don’t heal “straight” around too much fat.)

Tldr: eating disorders for fat troons are not treated because that is gatekeeping and bad.
Edited to add: it’s sad and bemusing that the trans community has normalized the concept of “needing a revision after a plastic surgery”. Revisions are not supposed to be a normal part of the process. I am aware that troons don’t want to call out surgeons because they want to make sure they can get their tranch/fake ballsacks before this is illegal, but damn.
