some of the things he says is problematic sometimes. but he is young and i think means well. im glad cover put him in a gen with older people so they can reel him in a bit. its clear he has a lot to learn about the world.

also think the sado-masochist thing is part of his personal aesthetic. just from seeing his PL fashion sensibilities and music tastes. its the goth aesthetic. like corpse husband.

as much as holomyth/council/irys says they dont have any input into character design, alot of these design choices with tempus matches way too well. maybe with holotempus they are beginning to take talent input into design

I saw what was presumed to be his past life, and yeah he had that very gothic style (he called his fans "dolls" iirc) and the fact he loves something like Black Cherry tells me that he was pretty counter culture by Japanese standards. He seems like the type who'd become some kind of street punk to avoid conforming in his teenage years considering he wasn't good in school.

I think his current look, outside of the furry bits if I take his word that he isn't a furry of some sort, feels sort of like an idol 'bad boy' sort of style where he has some edge but it has brighter colors to make him not too edgy while fitting in with the other 3. Axel's design I think stands out the most for how it doesn't fit the Isekai fantasy look Tempus as effectively as the rest. The fact he is the "Gladiator" in that get up tells me they had to make a reach with his design to explain what he does. Luckily Axel is also an aggressive (and dense) enough boy that he fits that "role" anyway.

I want to disagree as a Sanalite, but I can't deny I have some suspicions it's something like that too. Maybe less gave up and more just disillusioned with what it entailed and the back injury limited other avenues she could get out of the experience, so just decided to cut her losses and go back to artist work since she'd have to work pretty hard to come back from her starting fumble and she just wasn't that invested. I feel like I could go a whole speculative tangent but I don't want to waste the time on pure conjecture, what's done is done and I'll just have to deal with being able to follow her on her personal accounts.

I can only assume this means she's at least with Prism for the short term future but this kind of behavior is kind of concerning for Nia fans to say the least. Neena (now Bazeelle) crossing Kawaii may have emboldened her to leave because that's who she was associating with via her Ania persona. The difference being that the company Neena was crossing is like a couple dudes and Prism has Sony to enforce contracts if needed. I certainly wouldn't want to go up against a company with the resources of a small nation in a contract dispute.

For the longest time chat was giving her absolutely RETARDED advice on fixing it and it was probably the most frustrated I've ever been watching a livestream. I think they've finally got the problem basically figured out, its just fauna figuring out the specifics but man...

I was initially turned off by fauna because i thought her voice being soft and slow was a gimmick, but now she's one of my favorites. I especially like when her southern twang slips through - i never noticed it until a couple weeks ago, and it is very endearing.

The original Reuters tweet linking the article got ratio'd to shit. Today one of the chuubas I follow made a video about it.

Yeah from the first moment I saw this I knew it was 100% artificial and being pushed by some big wig corpo to get some of that tasty Vtuber money.

Fauna is so easy to watch and just vibe to I swear. She does a few goofy exciting things here and there, just enough to make it entertaining, but she's also one of the best to just have on in the background while she muses about life. Her Skyrim streams are some of my favorites but I enjoy watching her in block game as well - even though I have no idea what the hell she's currently doing.

That's what she'd claim, yeah, whether you believe it or not (or if it matters in the end) is another matter. The part about her having a complex is what I infer based on some offhand remarks she's made but it might just as well be a matter of feeling confident/comfortable with streaming enough.

Yeah, that was one of the points I was thinking on, given her streamed content on her personal channel and her work, I think her main interest was kind of blockaded by the distancing of Hololive from China, and the physical/idol side of it was probably dicey due to back issues.

I knew there were a lot of people who seemed to really like Prism and were waiting for their next audition but is this the power of being under the Sony umbrella? Cause that number is insane for a small agency.

They've hit their stride since Gen 2 and Gen 3, so it was highly likely for them to continue expanding even without being picked up by Sony imo.
