Donald Trump Announces Mar-A-Lago "Raided, Under Siege, And Occupied" By The FBI

Moments ago, Donald Trump - who is still banned by Twitter - published a statement on Truth Social in which he said that his Florida home, Mar A Lago is “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents", an assault which according to Trump "could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries." He is probably right. He also claims the Fed's presence was unannounced and the reason was politically motivated.
His full statement posted on his Truth Social account is below:
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the
United States of America
These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don't want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!
Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.
I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped.

I will continue to fight for the Great American People!
Local reporters confirmed the raid, saying the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. "They just left," although it isn't clear what the search was about.

While we await more information on what the FBI was doing at Mar-A-Lago or what they may have found, here are some kneejeak reactions.

Republicans (on KF) keep whining about the justice system. Time and time again with a multitude of excuses. And yet often it is Republican judges and appointed people (oh like the FBI Director) that charges and jails Republicans.

A record number of indictments and guilty verdicts for any Administration is a proud title held by the GOP's Trump administration.

27 Pages on KF disputing what? That the FBI had cause? Of course they did. What Republicans KF members want isn't law and order - just their rules applied to the justice system and are constantly disappointed when people with higher moral standards and ethics apply the rule of law.

The lack of Kangaroo Courts and Mob justice is a growing disappointment on these threads. I guess the only choice is to overthrow the government - oh shit, and even that in January didn't work!! But there is SOMETHING YOU CAN DO! Hand out silly "Dumb" and "Autistic" stickers. Go on - do what is within your power.

Serious question: Are you high right now?

Don't let me deter you or anything.

But can you tell the class what Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen were actually indicted for?

Hint: Neither indictment had anything to do with Trump in any capacity and the crimes in question didn't even occur while Trump was in office. But the narrative framing was to create guilt by association.

If the “Biden FBI” (by which I think you mean “FBI”) raided Mar-a-Lago, it means a judge found there was probable cause a crime was committed. It probably has something to do with the fact that Trump seemingly took boxes and boxes of classified information and left them lying around. Face it, if a Democratic former president were mixed up in anything like this, you’d be complaining that the FBI wasn’t doing enough.
Oh please. Counterpoint: Hillary Clinton's willful and intentional mishandling of classified email and the lack of any repercussions.
Trump wasn’t impeached for “asking the leader of another country to find out if a presidential candidate was involved in corruption”; he was impeached for threatening to withhold military aid that was approved by Congress.
Then why was he only impeached on nebulous "abuse of power" instead of an actual high crime or misdemeanor?

Both of those things you mentioned are political AF and politically motivated AF. Don't pretend that it has one whit to do with law and order. That is up 100% cope.

I still want to know who the fuck signed off on this and thought it was a good idea. We al know it wasn’t Biden… so who? I assume that person is having a very bad day as there’s no way this doesn’t backfire spectacularly and (presumably) one of the “adults in the room” has to. E losing their shit right now. The precedent alone is insane.
High level political targets require the signature of the Attorney General.
So in this case, the guy that signed off on the entire thing is Merrick Garland, who is still assmad he isn't sitting on the Supreme Court as Obamas 'Lame Duck' pick.

You need some serious horse blinders on to not see how brazenly partisan our federal agencies have become.

This mostly takes the form of selective prosecution. Take one of the most recent ones. Steve Bannon. The only person in decades to actually face any kind of punishment for contempt of Congress.

Here's Eric Holder being held in Contempt of Congress but judges completely refusing to do anything to him over it!

Here's one of Hilldog's staff being held in contempt of congress as well. Nothing happened to him either!

It's almost like there's some kind of pattern here!

The FBI is ran by a chain of command. In this case, the federal government. Said government has a personal vendetta against your then appointed president for whatever.

You can appoint whoever you want in positions. If the overall structure is crooked, it doesn't make much difference once you get voted out. The next person will take over.

This is actually a misunderstanding of the "high crimes and misdemeanor" line. Impeachment as a political process doesn't technically require anything other than political will to enact. On paper, the counterweight is that if you impeach for no reason you both weaken the institution and your constituents can toss you out of office for being such a massive faggot.

In the last peach mint the D simply opted for spamming "high crimes and misdemeanors" as much as possible so that people would associate the impeachment with that line. Not whether any crimes actually existed.

Trust me, I'm well aware. However, I think this is a misreading of the Constitution. "Crimes" and "misdemeanors" are terms that have a specific definition; nowhere in either of those definitions are "we don't like the guy very much".

Then again I'm one of those people that thinks "shall not be infringed" means exactly what it says. I understand that this idea of words having known meanings instead of what they can be twisted to mean for expedience is unpopular nowadays.
