When have we ever spread misinformation? Most of everything posted in this thread is shit he has actually said or done. We literally couldn't make up nuttier bullshit than what he's admitted to doing.

Let us be honest with each other here on The Farms. There are a few kiwis who are diligent about calling out factual errors, and they provide an important service. However, many a speculation has been posted here as if it is fact, and common stories are confused, misreported, and repeated. A few recurring items I can think of off the top of my head (corrections welcome if I'm wrong about any of the following):

• He didn't go to a real school/doesn't have a real degree. (He has a legitimate Associate's degree from an accredited college.)
• He works as a janitor. (He did at one time. We don't know if he still does)
• His family wants nothing to do with him (Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence. He could phone his mommy every Sunday night, for all we know)
• He did not go to his sister's wedding reception, and wasn't even invited (We know he was angry when he found out about the engagement and we know he wouldn't have been allowed at the temple service, but we don't know if he was invited or went to the reception. IIRC he did not post anything about going or not going, and was silent on social media the weekend it happened.)
• The story of his sister's wedding often gets conflated with another wedding where he was trying to get someone from the wedding party to drive all the way to go get him on the day of the ceremony
• He can't close his eyes or move them. (He can close them. He can move them up and down, but not side to side. I have posted screenshots of this)
• He blew his stimulus check on The Accomodations (A guess. Probably true, but still a guess)
• He's broke. (I have said this myself, based on his IFP filings and payday loan posts, but I have no way of knowing his current financial circumstances.)

Of course, these all seem like small things, and they aren't the reason why he still attracts trolling, cow tipping, and discussion. It's people calling him a stalker, saying he's dangerous to women, saying he sues everyone who crosses him, saying he sued Taylor Swift to make her date him, those are the things that bother him.

The big things that are discussed are things he did do, backed by court documents and screenshots of his own social media. But it's the things that aren't 100% true that open the door for him to claim that the Farms are full of lies.

I'm also not sure if he understands that when HE posts something that is untrue because he was being a "shock jock" (trolling by any other name. call it what it is, Greer), or trying to misdirect the Farms, when those things are discussed on the Farms, it's doesn't mean that WE are lying, just because he was.

Once again he mangles a common phrase. It's forgive and forget, not the other way around. You can't forget something and then forgive it.

Does anybody remember when Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house? Well that never happened. That was part of a sketch on SNL. The actual line was from an interview she did for 20/20 I believe where she said, "did you know that part of Russia can be see from part of Alaska?" or something like that. And she was right. The Diomede islands in the Bering straight and separated by about 2 1/2 miles. One is on Alaska's side and the other is on Russia's side. But afterwards you ask anybody if she said this and a lot of people would say she did. Why? The woman was an idiot and spoke without really understanding what she was talking about. So it makes sense she'd say something retarded.

So it kinda makes sense that some people will attribute things to Russtard because he's an idiot.

Russ is never going to wrap his squishy little smooth brain around the fact that when someone (like himself) has done and said horrible things in their life, they aren't the one who gets to decide when it's time to "move on" and "get over it". Likewise, they aren't the one who gets to determine if their behavior and actions "weren't that bad". That's for everyone else to decide, particularly the ones on the receiving end of their despicable words/behavior/actions. And the bad actor has absolutely no right to complain when people are still upset with them and calling attention to those words/actions/behavior, especially in a case like Shit-Lips' where it's obvious to anyone taking even a passing glance at the situation that absolutely nothing has changed with the bad actor.

Something else that undermines Russell's periodic declarations that "I've changed!" is that he focuses far more on his own suffering than on the mistakes he's supposedly apologizing for. In his recent blog post, he describes his misdeeds in very general terms: he "made mistakes" and "can impulsively say things" and has "done things that weren’t calculated fully" but never clearly describes what he did that he's apologizing for. He says people may have been "affected by [his] mistakes," but doesn't identify who those people might be. He also includes plenty of mitigating factors: he did "nothing terribly wrong or bad" and his actions were motivated by "anxiety and depression."

However, he describes the actions of his enemies in very specific terms and doesn't allow any mitigating factors. His enemies (i.e., we) are "vultures" who have "ruined the lives of countless people" and "have been linked to 4 suicides" and who "target [Russell's] friendships, connections, relationships, jobs, etc." The possibility that Russell's enemies might deserve forgiveness or understanding isn't considered: they are pure, deliberate evil. In short, Russell's "apology" is about 3% apology and 97% condemnation of other people.

Russell also used the same self-excusing language in a filing last year where he described his general life circumstances:

"Greer ended up being employed washing fire fighter uniforms, for low pay, and ended up getting fired from that job because the stress from the fallout was eating away at his emotions and work ethic."

Russell likes using the phrase "ended up X" to help externalize things that he's mainly responsible for. He doesn't write, "Greer applied for and obtained a job washing firefighter uniforms, for low pay, but was fired because of his emotional instability and poor work ethic." Instead, he frames these events as if he wasn't really a participant: getting a low-paid job was just something that happened to him, and any issues with his emotions and work ethic didn't come from him, but were the result of "stress from the fallout," which he had no control over.

On the other hand, he uses strong, declarative phrasing when describing the bad actions of others: of his former landlady, he writes, "The lady lied about many things. She would lock the door and Greer had no house key, so in a way, he was homeless." The lying is something she went out of her way to do -- he doesn't write, "Because of the influence of stress and other circumstances, the lady ended up lying."

"I was just being a shock jock". This is one Lucas Werner uses a lot. When Lucas is moooing and acting like a sped, and he gets some serious blow back from some of his actions, he claims that he was just "being a comedian". Also, Lucas loves to claim that he really isn't mentally ill and that he is plenty good. But he will fall back on his disabilities when it benefits him or to excuse some bad behavior.

Both Lucas and Rusty were taught that people who don't like them are "bad people". Both cows are narcissistic autists.

That's because in his mind he hasn't actually done anything wrong. His actions? Perfectly justified given the situation. As such he's not really sorry over what he's done. He's sorry that people "took it the wrong way". He didn't mean to call that woman an AIDS ridden whore. No he just meant that she's so loose that she's probably had loads of unprotected sex with saggy pants thugs and shoots up with drugs all the time. See? Totally different.

It's like how Chris would react when one of the girls he was mooning over would call him out. He'd just say, "I'm sorry" over and over again but he wasn't sorry. He was sorry that he got found out.
