Donald Trump Announces Mar-A-Lago "Raided, Under Siege, And Occupied" By The FBI

Moments ago, Donald Trump - who is still banned by Twitter - published a statement on Truth Social in which he said that his Florida home, Mar A Lago is “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents", an assault which according to Trump "could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries." He is probably right. He also claims the Fed's presence was unannounced and the reason was politically motivated.
His full statement posted on his Truth Social account is below:
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the
United States of America
These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don't want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!
Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.
I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped.

I will continue to fight for the Great American People!
Local reporters confirmed the raid, saying the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. "They just left," although it isn't clear what the search was about.

While we await more information on what the FBI was doing at Mar-A-Lago or what they may have found, here are some kneejeak reactions.

I'll be the first to admit the man is an idiot who enjoys the sound of his voice way too much, but I sincerely believe he wanted to do right by the country. That alone makes him the best politician in decades.
I forget which regular around here (one of the cat avatars) said that it's probably likely he only cares about doing right by the country because he's a malignant narcissist and dammit, it's an insult to his ego that his country isn't the best one, with the best stuff!
The sad thing is that still makes him a better political figure than 95% of the careerists currently inhabiting DC.

Man, why you gotta dunk on me just because I can't spell or type? I think it's just strange that people who claim to be intellectual powerhouses so angry against the unfair government oppressing people are now all old men who watch Ellen and agree that the government is actually 100% correct and Trump was mega Hitler 2.0 because he was slightly different from the stock politician
I see, you mean to say they're a bootlick.

The problem I have with throwing around the term 'fascist' is that it's a dead ideology with a particular collection of beliefs that nobody holds in unison anymore, the people who commonly use it don't care what a fascist is but only about leveraging its historical connotations to justify their street violence, and it's a snarl word that's a particular favorite of the left these days.

Fascist rolls off the tongue better than totalitarian or authoritarian or autocrat or tyrant, that's one reason it has become the go to label for oppressive government

Also muh Nazis dominating political consciousness for 80 fucking years now. Nobody goes around calling people hakko ichiu-ists

Is crossing this rubicon different from the rubicons that got crossed when the FBI raided Trump's lawyer or they hockeysticked the election etc etc? This kind of feels like a regular Tuesday tbh. I mean can you really say something bigger won't be coming along next month?

I'm sure Americans will respond to it with the same forceful measures as last time, by posting angry messages on Gab and then shitting themselves and doing nothing.

Next month: 3 scoops of ice cream!

They're getting more brazen. It's been a meme for ages and ages that if the government inflicts tyranny on Americans we'll rebel and overthrow them. People genuinely believed it. But then we stood by and let the government lock us down for ages and ages and inflict mask and "vaccine" mandates on us all over a run of the mill virus and we lined up like sheep and did as they said. They've realized that all this talk about freedom and rights is nothing but a sham, so they really can push us as hard as they want and start eliminating even the token opposition like Trump.
We let the government take away our right to have a well-regulated militia because OMG IDAHO WEIRDOS SCAWWY and let ourselves be distracted with Fudd guns. Yeah, faggot, you're totally going to have a last stand with you and your giant Gucci AR-15 collection as federal agents take you out in a blaze of glory.

Totalitarian, authoritarian and tyrant are generic terms and lack the lofty weight of invoking WW2's image as being the epicenter for humanity's greatest atrocities. People have strong feelings about WW2, they don't have that for any previous war except the Civil War, but people know and understand what a Confederate is and will laugh at you or call you a retard for calling them one. They used to just call people Nazis, but they already burned through that one since people mostly understand what that is. They now choose the word "fascist" because it's understanding by the general public is vague and ethereal, but it still yields the same feelings as calling someone a Nazi because of their association in WW2. The use of that particular word is entirely politically strategic, because it can invoke strong feelings without having to substantiate them with fact.

What bothers me is that so many people will acknowledge how bad are current politicians and how it's terrible and how we need better. Then when outsiders run (like Trump) they will then proceed to set the most ludicrous standards. Not only should Trump (or any other outsider) be amazingly competent, with no ties to wealth, politics or corporations but should be doing this out of the pure love and gooey warmness for each and every one of us.

Then they smug post about how they voted against Trump and not for Biden. Truth is they like the status quo, know it's shit but know or think (mostly think) they benefit from said shitness. Admitting this, would however truly crush their souls so they apply these double standards.

They're really just going to ruin what little balance there still was in the rule of US law to totally finish DRUMF this time.

It's pathetic.
This could have some massive ripple effects, there are huge amounts of investments in this country coming from abroad only because we don't pull this kind of crap which does happens in other countries and that's why they have so much trouble getting any investors, because the later don't know if tomorrow the dear leader will decide to raid their offices and nationalize the company.

Doing this to an ex-president, something that would be hard to justify anywhere but the very bottom of the barrel third world countries (even some of those have standards) means that all bets are off and anyone could be next.

If said investments leave for safer shores it would collapse the entire country, out entire banking system would become insolvent and people's savings would be gone.
This the kind of shit that happens in shithole countries
Historians of the future might mention this as one of those "empire's points of no return".
don't they do this shit like in Korea? it's corrupt as hell. like if you think america is an oligarchy, see how much of their gov is controlled by giant conglomerates. also one of their presidents was impeached over being influenced by a cult. you can't make this shit up
I remember a korean guy, don't know if it was in 4ch or 8ch, talking about this cult stuff years ago, in 2014 or 2015, and nobody not even the tinfoil hat schizos believed it.

Magic realism I guess.
he meant to say, under biden it's a broken 3rd world country.
remember to translate for trumpistani.
Some parts of America are already borderline 3rd world by many metrics, and the democrats getting votes with "gibs" and controlling violent street mobs with lackeys like blm and antifa is the kind of crap corrupt parties like the PRI do in Mexico, and that party is by far the main culprit of that country's current condition.
You should hear what is said about those who “left it,” and became successful after doing so.

All White men with skills and ambition should leave the third-world shithole known as the United States of America behind. Your skills, intelligence, and ambition will be rewarded literally anywhere outside “the West.”
Most non-western developed countries will never give you citizenship, most wont even give you permanent residence so you're only there for as long as you're useful. The kind of countries that will let you in no questions asked tend to be ones like Brazil where all the things you hate are there but times a million.

If you mean moving to the better parts of Europe then you better have skills they don't, which is unlikely, and if you do then get ready to earn less than back home and have to pay even greater taxes, all to maintain a state that's more leftist than the democrats will ever be.

That's the reason why despite all the crying and threats of moving to Canada far more Canadians come to live there than Americans move up north, which last time I checked was an insignificant amount. Guess the free-ish healthcare and empty progressivism isn't enough to compensate for the awful weather, heavy taxes, high cost of living and lower wages.

So my question is: when IS it okay to investigate a former president and potential opponent and how do we handle that in a way that is apolitical and not chilling to the democratic process? Do we just say ‘fuck it let the people vote?’

Not even going to comment about the shitshow just wondering how to not make a future shitshow.

Serious answer: you look the other way at 99% of things, because it's not worth blowing up the country if all he did was guarantee his daughter a TV gig she's unqualified for or get his dick sucked by an aide in the AF1 bathroom. If it's something serious, like a former executive or Cabinet member being on a hostile foreign government's payroll, you handle it as discreetly as possible. In all likelihood, you don't put the big man himself in jail; it's too much of a political firecracker. You don't do flashy no-knock raids. You don't run to the press. You make some phone calls. If it really is serious, you thoroughly investigate and hold to account probably everyone except the former POTUS or VPOTUS, because that's politically crossing the Rubicon.

The irony here is this is exactly what Trump tried to do with Joe Biden accepting bribes from Ukraine and China, except that fat Jew faggot from the Chair Force decided it could somehow be spun as an abuse of power to #Resist BLUMPF and finally throw the Orange Man Bad out of office.

I don't care what happens to this fat retard after he failed to do anything he said with both houses of Congress on his side for the first half of his term because he listened to that subversive kike Kushner, but the rules are not being applied evenly by either the media or the DOJ.

If you think Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were on Trump's side and totally ready to collaborate with the Trump admin if it weren't for Kushner, I'm legit surprised you managed to turn your computer on without help.

Republicans (on KF) keep whining about the justice system. Time and time again with a multitude of excuses. And yet often it is Republican judges and appointed people (oh like the FBI Director) that charges and jails Republicans.

A record number of indictments and guilty verdicts for any Administration is a proud title held by the GOP's Trump administration.

27 Pages on KF disputing what? That the FBI had cause? Of course they did. What Republicans KF members want isn't law and order - just their rules applied to the justice system and are constantly disappointed when people with higher moral standards and ethics apply the rule of law.

The lack of Kangaroo Courts and Mob justice is a growing disappointment on these threads. I guess the only choice is to overthrow the government - oh shit, and even that in January didn't work!! But there is SOMETHING YOU CAN DO! Hand out silly "Dumb" and "Autistic" stickers. Go on - do what is within your power.
Sir, you are upsetting the chimps

Wouldn't it be better to demand that our politicians be squeaky clean, with the understanding that your political enemies will be champing at the mother fucking bit to dig up dirt on you (and they will find it) if you did something wrong?

Our justice system is inherently adversarial.

Trillions of dollars flow through Washington. You can't have a trough that big and not attract pigs.
