Has someone ever been trolled into becoming a village idiot? If we play this 6th dimensional upside doen backgammon right, Pat could be the whipping boy of all the sci fi cons he attends. He goes up to someone to try and sell his book, and they laugh at him and make jokes about how he wasted money suing internet trolls without any wider context about him. No Opie and Anthony, no pepperoni, no black men farting, just a bunch of normal people making fun of a loser for normal reasons. We've already added negresses to his following, maybe book nerds are next. Pat wanted to be known, and another finger curls on the monkey paw.
In a normal situation this would be the case, but these cons he attends aren't full of normal people. They're full of freaks, failures and tranny fuckers who all desperately need an invisible army of alt-right trolls to justify why they spend all of their time on Twitter instead of selling books. Pat fits right in, he's just more toward the weird end.

Only the Twitter addicts. Another post earlier on the thread mentioned the only tension at the con is coming from people who are constantly on twitter which IIRC is only about a third of the con. The only reason we hear so much from them is because everyone sane is banned on Twitter

i agree, there are far better choices for a panelist than piggy, so here is my useless speculation as to why they would choose a man whose BMI is higher than his IQ:
He works for watered down pisswater beer and whatever slop they fling towards his gaping maw.
He probably pays them for the privilege, knowing how desperate he is for recognition and acclaim.
