Aug 9 2022 - Continuance on Grand Jury, defense filed motion for autism disorder deferred disposition

If Virginia legitimately believes that austists are so incapable of parsing right from wrong that they can't be held accountable for anything, then upon diagnosis they should immediately be permanently locked away for the benefit of society as a whole.
The thing is, Chris knows that what he did was wrong, that it was against the law and he knows that it is something society deems absolutely inacceptable.

How this autism thing will pan out, I can't tell, but it's surreal that a person that knows that he's commiting a crime and knows that it's something that is generally seen as unfathomably gross, might attempt to use his autism as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

But I am not complaining. Either he goes to jail and we know justice has at least partially been served or he goes free and gets his ass in even hotter waters within a year.
Only, I gotta say, if this turns out in a way that Chris literally just walks, I sincerely hope next time he commits a felony, someone opens a can of whoop ass.
Well then how much can you get away with if you have autism?
Yes.

I'm not a lawyer and I understand very little about court proceedings but how do you get a continuance at a grand jury trial?

Is the states evidence so weak they can't file charges against a retard?
It means the Prosecutor most likely decided to hold off presenting it that day. Likely to deal with Heilberg's Motion of Teflon Tardism
This retardness makes me want to shoot myself

It's not, from what we know. Chris got deferred and will go to pretrial. If he's lucky it'll (the pretrial) be the groundwork for his probation. If God exists it would be the prosecution fighting back to make sure he goes to prison because he can't keep getting away with this. Looks like that Jury was just as retarded and inbred as Chris. Or were the same people as Casey's. Hence the continuance (He's indicted, as it was previously stated earlier, but amended to deferred) and from the looks. They're pushing it out because the court has better things to do than deal with a retarded motherfucker with a god complex.

Hmmm. So if I’m understanding this correctly then this means that, Chris Chan has a honest chance of beating the charges during the trial and being found not guilty of Incest, by reason of Autism. This is going to be a ground breaking trial. A trial of the century if you will. I think this will be the first case in USA history where a man who had sex with his mom is honestly found not guilty of incest because he used autism as a defense during trial. The only question will be if the jurors accept Autism as a defense or not. Will just have to wait and see.
Chris has zero chance of beating the charges. Because he is Chris. It's not a "Not Guilty by reason of Tardism". It's essentially a Guilty plea that gets deferred pending the completion of probation. And the court can set the conditions of probation. The Prosecutor is not stupid. And No Contact with Barb, no going to 14 BC etc will be a major part of any probation. I could also see them asking for some typical Sex Offender type restrictions. No places frequented by Children ie Gamestop etc. No schools, no nursing homes. And the probation will probably be for something like 5 years.

If he completes his probation the charge gets erased from his record. If he fails his probation he's guilty of a felony and goes directly to jail to serve his sentence. This would be by far the best arrangement Heilberg could hope for. But it will be futile. Chris won't last an hour. As soon as he can wrangle transportation he will be on the porch of 14 BC pounding on the door screaming.

Chris is the Uni-Tard, he's now fallen on all the cardinal points of the lolcow compass now it's passing through the lesser parts of the great Rose of WFT? So just when you think he's reached the Southern Pole he manages to find another way to expand into lands new and strange, and travellers far from home in strange lands often fall afoul of the cursed smile of Lady Fate.
And this is why Chris is the only cow I kept up with. Even in the driest of content dry spells, he always had the potential(and ultimately always did) to go completely wild card. He’s made a fool out of every Chris expert that insisted “Chris would never do this, Chris would never do that..”.

Chris is that nigga that will do it.

I believe he will move in with Kenneth. I can't really see why it couldn't happen. I think Chris will soon find that is his most preferred option once he realizes he is never going back to 18B. The state gets rid of him too.
He doesn't get along with Kengle too often, they would drive each other crazy.

If you ask me, there's one player that will try to have Chris in a neutral environment, tard home, section 8, or halfway home, and that's Caden.
The motherfucker made ~$35k - $40k from the retard, and that's the very minimum.

Anyway, if it does go to trial, I hope they have him serve some time or at least some wiggle room like 2 years probation so he can fuck up again and get fucked by the long dick of the law.

Well have to see what this pretrial brings up.

I bet he will fuck up really bad after this if he does not go to jail or mental facility. After what happened to Barb, the hell is the limit for his degeneracy

Checked Twitter and they’ve all decided he’s going to be let free bc of the ‘tism. Just saw a tweet where a guy said he wants to kill himself bc of it and all the replies are trying to talk him out of it. He ain’t free yet is he?
That person is more retarded than Chris if that's true.

I don't think Chris is getting off anything. He's been in jail for more than a year and his life is going to be pretty shitty even if he follows guidelines imposed on him, which he won't. Him possibly being on the streets could be worse than jail.

Fuck they are trying to get him a damn deferral program. he's really going to skate cause of his tism again and face no real consequences. I hope they reject the program and send him up the river.
This feels more like a Hail Mary pass by Heilberg since he couldn’t get a favorable insanity stamp. He’s working with what he's got, and the fact that all he has to left play is “…uhhhh how about his autism?” just doesn’t seem like solid ground to me. He’s a rapist due to autism, and you can’t cure autism.. ergo, as long a Chris is autistic, he’s a potential rapist.

Hopefully he gets an ankle monitor so it doesn't come to that.
Unless it's like those invisible fence shock collars they put on German Shepard's, dialed up to "shake n bake" it's going to come to that. The moment they order him freed they may as well park a deputy outside 14 BC with a tranq gun.

The risk here is the prosecutor has an easy counter to this. If he bumps the charge to Rape, that's a crime of violence. Autismo'Grande is no longer applicable. But in all likelihood the Prosecutor will be satisfied with time served + tight probation on a deferred felony. The Sheriff has got to be sending the Prosecutors office some fun e-mails regarding when they can get Jesus Chris(t) the Holy Sonichu the fuck out of his jail? Because he's annoying.

It appears that way. I actually just read about this now, and I can't believe it. If the text of the law is anything to be believed, and the motion is allowed, he very well might walk with probation.

Whether or not this will embolden him remains to be seen.
Don’t start thinking life will go back to normal for Chris. Probation can be difficult for ordinary people to live up to and Chris is anything but normal.

He won’t be able to go back home to his toys and he won’t even be able to see Barb anymore. He might not even be able to see his family since they’re also Barb’s family.

He’ll have to spend his tugboat on things like food, utilities and rent instead of buying more toys. He’s also probably going to have to pay for court fees and he may have to pay for a court ordered therapist.

He’s also going to have to deal with case workers and a landlord and maybe even a parole officer who aren’t going to let him get away with everything like Barb always did. Chris never did well with authority figures telling him no.

If we’re lucky, he’ll get a parole officer who will have other requirements for him. It will be entertaining to watch Chris get told he has to try to find a job (which he should be able to do with a college degree and an amazing job market right now).

Chris is in for a difficult saga post jail.
