Some police wear bodycams but not all.

Recently the RCMP did a no-knock takedown of a drug dealer + domestic abuser in my neighbourhood. I saw them bring the guy out in cuffs and they didn't have any rifles on them, so at most they took this guy down with only pistols drawn. London police are different than RCMP but still, it's strange that keffals was apparently deemed more of a threat than this guy who had multiple arrests for violence and could easily have had unregistered weapons in his place.

This was the first thing that tipped me off, why was it an incredibly specific handgun? I know in Canada you need licensing to get access to easily concealable arms, so it's possible that he either inherited that or he has a license to own one. It's an old Spanish handgun, it was quite popular in Canada back in the day.

The fact that he keeps increasing the goal shows to me that this is likely grift. GoFundMe allows people to donate after the goal has been reached, so he doesn't need to do that.
Lucas is chalking this up to a transgender hate crime but is there any evidence that it is actually that? Streamers getting swatted is unfortunately common. If he actually got swatted, it's more likely that it was done because he's a streamer and has a very large Twitter presence and not because he's trans.
He mentions in his press release that every city councilor in his city was sent an email. That is 15 different people. I wonder if any of those people will support his story?

It says "possession of an restricted/prohibited weapon by an unlicensed person" on the warrant page as a suspected offense. All the stuff they listed makes me pretty sure there was a picture of a gun on the table with some gun stuff attached to that email.
