Donald Trump Announces Mar-A-Lago "Raided, Under Siege, And Occupied" By The FBI

Moments ago, Donald Trump - who is still banned by Twitter - published a statement on Truth Social in which he said that his Florida home, Mar A Lago is “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents", an assault which according to Trump "could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries." He is probably right. He also claims the Fed's presence was unannounced and the reason was politically motivated.
His full statement posted on his Truth Social account is below:
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the
United States of America
These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don't want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!
Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.
I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped.

I will continue to fight for the Great American People!
Local reporters confirmed the raid, saying the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. "They just left," although it isn't clear what the search was about.

While we await more information on what the FBI was doing at Mar-A-Lago or what they may have found, here are some kneejeak reactions.

Why are the libtards here so bad at smug posting? Or is it hard to smug post when even you can sense this is a slow motion train wreck for your side?

Also Dr. Dre is in the closet. lol
I'm not being smug at all.

I'm merely enjoying the viewing of this alternative world you guys live in where rather than accept a jury or court decision, you'd prefer to make up fairy tales as to why the verdict went the way it did rather than ever read the transcripts of become failure with the actual law that was broken.

It is much easier to blame conspiracy than it is to read. I understand it is hard to read for you guys and I have sympathy for you.

Much as you wish it were, Orange Man Bad isn't a law sweetie.

Kicking yourself in the nuts ain't smart.
Depends on whether it's really kicking yourself in the nuts. Parasites like McConnell are well insulated from the consequences of their actions. The regime will never target him. When he retires and finally dies, establishment will be effusive with praise for him, talking about how he was 'one of the good ones', as they've done for John McTraitor, Paul Ryan, Lizard Cheney, Penis Cheney, Both Bushes and many others
The reason this isn't a Rubicon moment is that Trump is viewed by most of the political world as a special exception. He's the exact kind of guy the system was meant to keep out, so the usual rules and conventions don't apply to him. The Republicans in Washington never accepted him as one of them. They were far more concerned with trying to find a way to either cripple or get rid of Trump without having their own voters revolt than they were with getting anything done, which is why they gladly allied with Democrats on the Mueller investigation and initially stood behind Liz Cheney's J6 antics.

Obama's people kicked around the idea of doing this exact thing to Bush administration, but they never did, because that would have been a Rubicon moment. That would have been declaring war, not on an ex-President that everyone in DC agrees is a greater danger to America than the PRC or fentanyl, but on the entire Republican Party. So Holder et al. backed down. Putting Bush and Cheney in jail would have meant that the next time the GOP establishment took power, they would have gone scorched earth. And if you don't believe me, the last time the Democrats subverted the system to fuck over the GOPe instead of their mutual enemy, the American people, Mitch McConnell took no prisoners and enacted generational change on the judiciary.
You've just argued why it is a Rubicon moment.

Obama never went after Bush or Cheney? Well they're on the same fucking team. But the illusion in America is that the American people have the right to pick their own leaders. So they pick Donald Trump, who is not a career politician, who is not DC establishment. He's an outsider. So what do they do? They use every weapon in their arsenal to destroy him, derail his candidacy and destroy his Presidency. Then, when they finally manage to get him out with good old fashioned vote fixing, they do everything they can to make sure he doesn't run again, culminating in raiding his home. They have completely and comprehensively shattered the illusion that the American people have any say over who rules them.

If that's not a Rubicon moment, I don't know what is.
now you give me an example of someone who wasn't a delusional pacifist
You've shifted the goalposts. No shit most of the people who thought war wasn't going to happen, by the end of the thirties at least, were probably pacifists. Doesn't mean such people didn't exist. Chamberlain's the biggest fucking example.

Man, why you gotta dunk on me just because I can't spell or type? I think it's just strange that people who claim to be intellectual powerhouses so angry against the unfair government oppressing people are now all old men who watch Ellen and agree that the government is actually 100% correct and Trump was mega Hitler 2.0 because he was slightly different from the stock politician - Now, the most punk thing you can do is live in a pod and eat bugs while living as a serf in a world where only consumption of cum and product matters.

Instead of long-winded rants about city problems and materialism, all these old people now watch Mike and Molly and talk about fat shaming or how poor rural people are the biggest threat to the united states while doing commercials for Apple and shit.

It's just insanely gay, is all.
Punk was once anti-authoity, now it is full authoritarian.
It was so obvious war was coming that when you read books set in the interwar period it's impossible to tell from the text whether the author is being prescient or whether the anschluss has already happened. You have to check the publication date.

Granted, this was written in 38, so I think it's almost cheating, But it comes up in all his other works from the interwar period, including Down and Out written in 33 IIRC... A bit of Orwell from Coming Up For Air:

The train was running along an embankment. A little below us you could see the roofs of the houses stretching on and on, the little red roofs where the bombs are going to drop, a bit lighted up at this moment because a ray of sunshine was catching them. Funny how we keep on thinking about bombs. Of course there's no question that it's coming soon. You can tell how close it is by the cheer-up stuff they're talking about it in the newspaper. I was reading a piece in the News Chronicle the other day where it said that bombing planes can't do any damage nowadays. The anti-aircraft guns have got so good that the bomber has to stay at twenty thousand feet. The chap thinks, you notice, that if an aeroplane's high enough the bombs don't reach the ground. Or more likely what he really meant was that they'll miss Woolwich Arsenal and only hit places like Ellesmere Road.

War! I started thinking about it again. It's coming soon, that's certain. But who's afraid of war? That's to say, who's afraid of the bombs and the machine-guns? 'You are', you say. Yes, I am, and so's anybody who's ever seen them. But it isn't the war that matters, it's the after-war. The world we're going down into, the kind of hate-world, slogan-world. The coloured shirts, the barbed wire, the rubber truncheons. The secret cells where the electric light burns night and day, and the detectives watching you while you sleep. And the processions and the posters with enormous faces, and the crowds of a million people all cheering for the Leader till they deafen themselves into thinking that they really worship him, and all the time, underneath, they hate him so that they want to puke. It's all going to happen.

And the next war coming over the horizon, 1941, they say. Three more circles of the sun, and then we whizz straight into it. The bombs diving down on you like black cigars, and the streamlined bullets streaming from the Bren machine-guns. Not that that worries me particularly. I'm too old to fight. There'll be air-raids, of course, but they won't hit everybody. Besides, even if that kind of danger exists, it doesn't really enter into one's thoughts beforehand. As I've said several times already, I'm not frightened of the war, only the after-war. And even that isn't likely to affect me personally. Because who'd bother about a chap like me? I'm too fat to be a political suspect. No one would bump me off or cosh me with a rubber truncheon. I'm the ordinary middling kind that moves on when the policeman tells him. As for Hilda and the kids, they'd probably never notice the difference. And yet it frightens me. The barbed wire! The slogans! The enormous faces! The cork-lined cellars where the executioner plugs you from behind! For that matter it frightens other chaps who are intellectually a good deal dumber than I am. But why! Because it means good-bye to this thing I've been telling you about, this special feeling inside you. Call it peace, if you like. But when I say peace I don't mean absence of war, I mean peace, a feeling in your guts. And it's gone for ever if the rubber truncheon boys get hold of us.

From Keep tghe Aspidistra Flying(36):
Gordon squinted up at the leaden sky. Those aeroplanes are coming.
In imagination he saw them coming now; squadron after squadron,
innumerable, darkening the sky like clouds of gnats. With his
tongue not quite against his teeth he made a buzzing, bluebottle-
on-the-window-pane sound to represent the humming of the
aeroplanes. It was a sound which, at that moment, he ardently
desired to hear.

'But there's more in it than that. Just look at that fellow's face
gaping down at us! You can see our whole civilization written
there. The imbecility, the emptiness, the desolation! You can't
look at it without thinking of French letters and machine guns. Do
you know that the other day I was actually wishing war would break
out? I was longing for it--praying for it, almost.'

'Of course, the trouble is, you see, that about half the young men
in Europe are wishing the same thing.'

'Let's hope they are. Then perhaps it'll happen.'

'My dear old chap, no! Once is enough, surely.'

Gordon gazed at the thing. He drank in its puling silliness. God,
what trash! 'Invigorating--healing!' The weak incompetence of it!
It hadn't even the vigorous badness of the slogans that really
stick. Just soppy, lifeless drivel. It would have been almost
pathetic in its feebleness if one hadn't reflected that all over
London and all over every town in England that poster was
plastered, rotting the minds of men. He looked up and down the
graceless street. Yes, war is coming soon. You can't doubt it
when you see the Bovex ads. The electric drills in our streets
presage the rattle of the machine-guns. Only a little while before
the aeroplanes come. Zoom--bang! A few tons of T.N.T. to send our
civilization back to hell where it belongs.

Herman Hesse's works are full of it, too, and you can find some in Fitzgerald, even, although Americans were a lot less fixated on it all than European writers. I can't think of a decent writer from Europe in the interwar period who WASN'T talking about it.

I mean shit, you had people back in the 70s and early 80s saying the Soviet Union was going to collapse, which is extremely fucking obvious now, now that we know what we know. But most people didn't think that way back then. Most people assumed the Soviet Union would be here forever
Most of these people expected some sort of domino collapse with many of the component states and vassals like Hungary throwing the Soviets out by force. It was very clear that the Soviets were unwanted guests for most of the nations in the Warsaw Pact. Hungary had a spectacular showdown in the 50s over simple reforms, there was a lot of resentment in the bloc at the citizen level and it was always the Westerner view that there would be some sort of late 1700s or 1848 moment where one nation sitting at the table would just flip it and start decking the Soviets in the snoz over some normally trivial matter and this would ripple through the bloc leading to widespread revolts. That the USSR dissolved in a mostly peaceful manner (I consider the Ukraine war a delayed consequence of this) is outright remarkable, ask anyone of the era how a USSR dissolution would occur and they would have immediately responded with nuclear war.

I don't think the goal is to actually legally bar Trump from office. The goal is to spend the next two years claiming that he can't hold office, and when the Supreme Court says "No, Congress doesn't have the power to do that." (likely with the 6 Republican appointed justices as the majority), Democrats can then attack SCOTUS as partisan and enabling fascism. Then they hope they'll have enough approval to justify stacking the court. All to save Our Democracy, of course.
Yeah uh.
Maybe don't go on about factions being partisan when you just used a faction in a partisan way that people are equating to the SS or Gestapo.
A chunk of said people being YOUR FACTION as well. Because the dumbass you're trying to fuck over has explicitly said they'll use the tools you've decided to use to sodomize all of you slowly.

I'd say they wouldn't be this retarded. But here we are. Immediately after trying to piss off China too. Good job there. Bet Japan liked being shot at for your gayop.

If this really is about classified documents then it doesn't surprise me at all that Trump might've left classified documents scattered around everywhere.

He seems like the same kind of boomer where every single file on their computer is in the "Downloads" folder or on one of several hundred thumb drives scattered around inside a comically large piece of home office furniture and inside their car.

also the entire US military-industrial complex gravy train depended on people going "oh we're so scared of the commies, they are definitely very very scary and definitely not going to fall the fuck apart"

One thing is for sure, this raid basically means that Trump has to run for president. In other words, he has no other choice but to go back to the White House whether he wants to or not.

Winning the presidency is the only way he can delay a court case, assuming the feds have a solid enough case against him.
he super wants to though

Or until they reach for the nuclear football.
Aren't the actual Silos in mostly red areas? I don't think that the War would go a week before those got overrun and decomissioned.

Edit : I am not saying they are, but I could swear they are just like in the middle of nowhere assfuck America and it would be a..poor strategy to leave the Nukes as a weapon available to the Coastal Rats.

they are in the middle of fucking nowhere. in actual war conditions it would be extremely difficult to get the fuel to get a large enough mass of people to overrun anything out in the middle of nowhere.
