Back in the before times, Republicans had an agenda. They were able to ram through legislation and start wars.

But now conservatives don't have any ulterior motive other than to "own the libs" so there's no hypocrisy; no airs about being consistent. Trump couldn't even repeal Obamacare because he doesn't know what he wants anymore. He ran on protecting Medicare as a Republican!

There's nothing to "fact-check" because there's nothing there.

I think deep down, Trumpers know what a piece of shot Trump is and that anyone looking too closely will see the Emperor has no clothes. But they’re too stupid or proud (lol) to admit they were wrong about him so they need to do whatever they can to protect the false idol they worship.
