I'm gonna fucking cry if he gets away with raping his mom just because he's autistic, I swear to God even we/autistic people know not to fuck family/people who say "no".
Comparing autistic people to Chris is like comparing spilling a glass of water to a biblical flood. The biggest lie he ever latched onto wasn't any "relationship", or his delusions, it was telling himself he's high-functioning. Spilling a glass of water doesn't ruin lives.

So the autism deferral *IS* available in Chris' case.
Thanks, I hate it.

Autism is only one of Chris' many mental disorders.

Even at the time of his diagnosis it wasn't an official part of the Autisim Diagnosis it was just used to mean "Isn't banging his head into the wall and drinking from a sippy cup all day, can talk and do other basic tasks with supervision and training". Barb and Bob took that to mean Chris was akin to rainman in some way they haven't discovered yet and carried on reinforcing that far past the point hope should have let them.

Can I beg indulgence for another question? I'm not based in the USofA thus I don't understand the nuances of your justice system.

Does the Grand Jury have all of the possible charges presented to them? Is it an exclusionary process; are these all the charges that will be brought? Are more charges able to be added later? Or would that take another Grand Jury proceeding?

How could he lose but return to 14BC?
I think that would hinge on Barb having to move for medical reasons, of her own free will (Which seems extremely unlikely since she's just as attached to her horde as Chris is to his toys) or she dies and Chris is either allowed to take on the mortgage or Barb lets him stay there paying rent (Basically paying off the mortgage) but in the long term since I don't think Chris understands the basics of house upkeep it wouldn't last.

Chris being found guilty of incest but not getting any additional charges means, as far as I understand, it's possible he'd just get the minimum sentence of one year that's already been served.

Nah, if the jew lawyer was confident that Chris would get free, he would not even use the "Kick the Autistic" excuse.
Whatever happens, in the end, he will lose regardless, even if by a miracle he returns to 14BC.
At this point I Highly doubt he would ever return to 14BC, whether it'd be by Court Mandate or by Barb's Death/Leave, It's almost guaranteed by the time Chris has this over with, 14BC will not be an option for chris anymore unless he somehow magically gets the deed to it when he gets out of Jail.

So the Grand Jury can rule on a singular charge as presented, or the Prosecution can introduce more charges as part of the hearing. Until the trial starts, the prosecution can add or subtract charges based on perceived viability. Let's say Chris-chan stole condoms for his incestuous acts. Unless they could find hard evidence of the act, the charges wouldn't last, so those might be dropped immediately. More than likely, Chris will be hit with 3 charges: Incest w/ Parent, Elder Abuse, and Rape. Sexual Assault could also be added to this list but I wager that Elder Abuse is definitely on the table

Thank you, I appreciate the clarification.

I do wonder why they aren't adding on the financial stuff as it would seem to be a slam dunk. You had this order in place, you violated it by taking money out, you are guilty.

The problem here is you're thinking in terms of normal people looking at the legality of the situation.

Chris is, obviously, not normal.

He believes 14BC is rightfully his because it's his Sonichu Temple now, he doesn't give two shits about the deed or whatever legal considerations are involved. It's literally the only safe place he's known for the majority of his life and its not like he has anywhere else to go because his entire extended family has completely ostracized him in the wake of this incident. The only thing stopping him from going straight back to 14BC the literal second he walks out of jail is the lack of means to get there - otherwise it wouldn't surprise me in the least if upon getting back there and (Assuming Barb does still live there on her own which I have my own doubts) he straight up kicks his mother out of the house so he can be in it instead. Then he will obviously be arrested again immediately but that's how Chris thinks - he doesn't care about the consequences and never learns, he only cares about himself and getting what he wants as soon as possible.

That’s the kind of stuff that makes us MATI, the court functions on what’s admissible, what’s conjecture and hearsay etc. but kiwis are familiar with the big picture of how shitty Chris is. That he not only raped barbs body, but raped her bank account too. Just so he could toy shop and sleep in a comfy hotel. All his bullshit letters where he’s clearly not sorry, just pissed he got snitched out. And now, since he can’t fuck Barb anymore, he wants her out of HER own home, with zero regard for where she ends up.

If character assessments were part of deliberations, Chris would be doing life.

The defferment on Autism is the same as pleading temporary insanity or anything else that defense attorneys do when its the only logical defense they have. Keep in ming we have no idea what they have as far as actual, admissible evidence of what Chris did. If it's only Chris's words and no actual evidence then the autism card is at play. If they have actual evidence that Chris raped his mother, then it can only be used as a plea for him to be placed in a mental facility instead of prison.

This is manifestly incorrect.
