I was curious about this as well. Might be better off not knowing. :| They probably just don’t want to deal with a bunch of tards slinging rope everywhere.
Honestly just that. Usually the computers are in a communal area as well, and, well, nobody wants to see that (we're still forced to at times).

Chris reminds me of the conclusion of an episode of King of the Hill, where Cotton and Hank reflect on the fact that Bobby couldn't be broken in Cotton's military school/camp:

Chris's whole life has been one disaster after another, and he just keeps on going, almost unfazed beyond a tantrum or crashing into slumber for a bit. He's lost multiple (fake) girlfriends, was cut off from whatever "real friends" he knew, had his house burned down, got kicked out of a convention, tormented publicly for over a decade, had multiple court cases, been banned from numerous places that were a big part of his life and has now spent a year in jail. Many thought that being removed from the comfort of home and all of his toys/games would break him, but he just sits there in his cell, cobbling together what creature comforts are available to him, living in his retarded fantasy land. Even when faced with being sent to a group home, where he would be living shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of slow-in-the-minds that he vocally hates, he seems just fine.

He is essentially impervious to any form of punishment or consequence. Unfortunately, this is also why he will never be more than what he is and always has been, he has no reason to change or grow.
We thought him the Untermensch but in reality he’s the Übermensch. :tomgirl:

One could argue that elderly mother rape is a taboo above murder. He fucking leapt over that particular line, so to me, he’s capable of anything now. There’s way more autistic guys that killed their mother vs ones that fucked their mother. He’s suuuper stressed, extra crazy and she’s standing in the way of his precious plastic treasures. And if the tone of his letters is an indicator, he has no more love for her. She’s just an obstacle now.

On the upside, that old redneck bitch is durable as hell and Chris is still a massive pussy.
Chris is a pathetic coward, but when he thinks he can get away with something, he has absolutely no qualms with trying.
We've seen this countless times with much smaller crimes (such as vandalism) and one time with something really terrible (raping his senile mom).

His letters make it clear that he sees Barb as an obstacle and that he does not consider her herself anymore. To him, she's a weird zombified version of herself, not the TRUE and HONEST Barbie Rosechu incarnation he has in his mind, but rather a soulless hunk of meat that stubbornly continues to exist and blocking his way home to his temple and his legos, while her eternal soul is in some state of flux.

Think about it, in his own "mythology", he called raping Barb "soul bonding", basically he thought he was binding her soul to her frail, old body. Now that she hasn't had the privilege of getting ducked in the Barbussy 3 times a week for over a year, he might think that her soul has slipped from her body and she is now only an empty vessel, that blocks his way back to BC14 and his toys, while also potentially blocking Barbie Rosechu from being incarnated.

This legit creeps me out, cause it's the foundation for Chris to decide that Barb needs to die in order to free her soul from the shackles of her damaged body. Given that Chris has justified raping his senile mom with some harebrained supernatural explanation, who is to say he wouldn't do the same for a much more violent crime?

It also might be a spur of the moment thing: He gets released from jail for some stupid reason, is told to not go to BC14 for obvious reasons and just like before his arrest with him stealing money from Barb, he goes "fuck the rules" and turns up at Barb's doorstep. One thing leads to the other and his frustration causes him to attack her.

I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but I could very well see it happen, unlikely as it might be. At heart, Chris is a coward, but we have seen how deeply rotten he is and how depraved his acts can be. There is no low he could not sink to.

What if chris life ends with barb shooting him...
...with the gun from Cole's story? Now that'd be outright karmic irony and the best display of Chekov's Gun irl ever witnessed.

The fact that he may possibly be out and about right now, just proves that Kick the Autistic shit is some top-tier bullshit. Chris has moonwalked out of so much trouble because of his autism it blows me away. He gets tugboat benefits from my tax dollars. He gets free medical treatment in jail for fucking his mommy on my tax dollars. He tried to murder somebody with a car? Some community service. He assaults people with pepper spray and vandalizes stores? Pfft you big stupid, you can't be mad at him, he has autism. He gets in most trouble he ever has? He just happens to get a high profile lawyer doing some casual public defense hours

I'll have what he's having that shit is bullet proof.

Can you estimate how much of his own stuff he’d be able to keep/display? Could he use his own retarded pony sheets?

Are there hygiene standards?

Would he have to do chores?
His stuff: Depends on the facility, so long as its not overly garish, he should be able to display his art on the walls, could probably keep his clothes (so long as they're in good condition and not too ill fitting), and maybe one or two toys provided they can't be broken to be used as a weapon. The sheets are a no, not because they can't have MLP sheets, but more than likely just because they don't fit the bed and that can pose a hazard by allowing things to be easier to conceal. I don't, however, believe he would be able to keep the medallion, as it possesses a risk of becoming a choking hazard for others and himself should he try to forever sleep.

Hygiene: Usually they ensure at least one shower a day is taken and that teeth brushing is done. Depends on the facility though, some facilities have the right to force you to bathe, while others severely restrict you if you don't. Facilities are also set up to deal with his other hygiene issues as they almost always have adult diapers on hand and can force the usage of them if needed.

Chores: Uh... maybe, depends on how functioning they consider him. I can't really judge by Virginia standards, but the facility I work for would definitely have him doing chores.

Do you work in a super conservative Christian facility? How is restricting porn even legal?
No, at least they have never pushed religious beliefs on anyone when I was around. Because it is, I don't know, I just know the computer is in a communal space and nobody wants to see anyone choking the chicken while on shift or forced to live in a home (for the most part at least, I'm sure there's someone who enjoys that stuff).

Do they also heavily-medicate most of the residents to keep them constantly sedated and easier to control?

Do residents technically have the right to leave, or are they pretty much inmates under a different designation?

If he goes to such a facility, would it not be for life?

Medication: Depends on the person and if the facility has a doctor on staff, I can't really touch on this stuff for HIPAA stuff, but what I can say is that if a doctor deems it necessary, it can be done.

Right to leave: Depends, what I am wondering is if they are considering setting up a conservatorship for Chris. If they do that and succeed, he does not have a right to leave should his conservator say he has to remain there. If they don't get a conservatorship, he technically does, unless there is some stipulation in the case that says he has to stay there or face actual charges for his crime (which I would hope they are smart enough to put in there).

Life in facility: See, I don't know there. I don't feel like diving into Virginia state law, but my guess would be probably not (at least not without conservatorship). I would think that all they could legally do is keep him there for the duration of his probation (or however long they could sentence him for the crime). If they get the conservatorship, then theoretically yes. The conservator could consider Chris unfit to integrate back into society and decide that the best place for him is in the group home.

Its not worth the proverbial price of admission. We Kiwis should know that more than anyone.
True. The weens probably gave the judge and Chris's lawyer a new word to laugh at over dinner too. Between DSP and Chris, We need to give a title to the true and honest Super lolcows who've managed to breakdance through life-ending legal trouble just by having insufferable orbiters and retarded amounts of luck.

The rest is government approved sodexo/sysco/whoever the lowest bidder is, food that I would consider worse than what I got in all the MREs I've eaten (vomlet excluded). Although, knowing Chris, he may actually appreciate the TVP, as its mostly soy, so this could potentially be a plus.

Sysco ingredients aren't bad. They're not great either, but they're decent enough. Inexpensive restaurants use them and properly prepared it's fine, even tasty in a comfort food sort of way.

The problem is the shit cooking of Sodexo/Aramark.

Question, due to the failure to indict mean right now? Is it now a felony or still a misdemeanor? Because I'm confused as to the grounds for his continued detention past the maximum length of the possible misdemeanor sentence.

As long as they're attempting to indict, it's fine for a little while, especially if it's due to a motion filed by the defense. They're not in J&DR anymore, where it could only be a misdemeanor. Either way, unless the charge is a hard misdemeanor, they don't have to automatically let him go -- it just means that Chris can get an order to let him go. If Chris petitions to be let out due to lack of indictment, he will have to show that they willfully failed to indict -- which they presumably didn't if it was Heilberg's request.

My god, and here I thought homes for the Ill were reformed ND had moved past the draconian days of one flew over the cuckoo's nest.

The difference is that the tards often aren't prisoners and can leave if they so wish (though in Chris' case a condition of his probation might be that he goes to prison if he leaves).

I'm no expert on this, but it's my understanding (from reading the posts of other, more informed people like Pointless Sperg) that Chris's current charge is a "wobbler"; such charges are considered felonies by default, but can be tried as either a felony or a misdemeanor. Since Chris's case has moved from J&DR court to circuit court, we can presume his charge will be tried as a felony; the max sentence for felony incest is 10 years, so I don't think they should have any issues with continuing to hold him.
Like I said, I'm no expert on the law, so I might be wrong about this.

Circuit court can still lower the charges and convict him of a misdemeanor if they choose (this is what happened in the Snyder case), but J&DR couldn't try him on a felony.

But yes, for the purposes of keeping Chris locked up they can treat it as a felony unless Chris complains, at which point they need to show that they're not just keeping Chris in jail for the hell of it. That they even scheduled to present the case to a grand jury is probably sufficient for that.

He is essentially impervious to any form of punishment or consequence. Unfortunately, this is also why he will never be more than what he is and always has been, he has no reason to change or grow.

I'll still wager that corporal punishment would have an effect, as it works on a different part of the brain.

The fact that he may possibly be out and about right now,

Vine will update when he gets out.

Nitpick, but I think in Virginia a conservator just controls your financial affairs, while a guardian gets to actually control you. The terms are different in some other states:

So if we hear that Chris has been assigned a conservator, the conservator can't make him *do* anything, Chris just loses control of his finances. Chris absolutely needs a conservator.

I don't know, I have a feeling that he doesn't feel pain as intensely as most people. That is a potential symptom of ASD. Most people would not willingly carve up their taint and then ignore an infection in a gaping wound. Pain related anxiety is apparently often higher in some people with ASD though, so maybe it would still be an effective deterrent.

There is also medial / mental health arguments that can be made i.e. look this guy can't understand the concept of later so when exposed to porn they are liable to drop there trousers in public and start fettling there giggle stick so we don't allow porn to prevent a issue... etc
Porn he couldn’t understand is one reason Chris is the way he is. His parents did a fucking awful job monitoring that.

His stuff: Depends on the facility,
I assume he couldn’t have his own cell phone or other personal device hooked up to the internet?

(Thank you for answering!)

I don't know, I have a feeling that he doesn't feel pain as intensely as most people.
It’s possible, though he was drunk when he cut himself. We know he can be irritated by some fabrics and things because he used to have something on his medallion to keep it from rubbing against his neck. The Punisher could get creative.

So as someone who is a tard wrangler at a group home, and a follower of christory since about 2011, allow me to explain some of the other things he may get annoyed with based on what I have seen working several facilities.

First off, you're doing God's work, because tard wrangling ain't easy.

Second, not to powerlevel you or anything, but I suspect you've had some specific tard wrangling training, because you seem to have worked at some of the more restrictive tard homes. They're not all as regimented as you describe, though I've also seen some that are a LOT worse. Three guesses which ones Chris would be sent to.

How is restricting porn even legal?

It's not a matter of legal. With some tards it's necessary. Someone with the mind of a seven year old, the hormones of a 17 year old, and porn are a very messy combination.

I don't think it's legal for your landlord to put a parental block on accessing porn from your own home,

It's a tard home, and they're not landlords.

Do they also heavily-medicate most of the residents to keep them constantly sedated and easier to control?

It depends on the inmates. And usually they're not medicated to make them compliant etc. but to keep them from being completely fucking bonkers. Google antipsychotics.

His parents did a fucking awful job monitoring that.

Or they intentionally looked the other way. Literally. I mean would you want to see that? The computer was in the kitchen for fuck's sake.

Porn he couldn’t understand is one reason Chris is the way he is. His parents did a fucking awful job monitoring that.

I honestly wish there was more of a open discussion around this as well, Chris isn't capable of looking at porn in a "normal" way he will always find a way to make it a core part of his persona i.e. The Love Quest, and also be disturbingly open with it online and in public - there has to be a point where as a society people step in an say "Your not normal / incapable of being normal as such your not allowed to do this for your own good, and the wider good of society" this can and should be included in the discussion around Chris and Chris like people being included in wider society as they are clearly not capable of being included on there own without significant help.

Rape is a crime under murder in depravity and nigga gettin away with it

Is this for fucking real?
That's a defense in Virginia?
You can fuck your mom and then just stand up before the Judge and say "Ummah ummah basically ummah, basically ummah ummah I'm sorry I'm with Autism, I don't do not being a criminal so well"

Come the fuck on Virginia. You're embarrassing us.
