I just watched through that Sitch and Adam episode. Never heard of these guys before but holy shit, they sounded like they were on downers the whole way through. The arguments were good but they were pretty boring to listen to. I hadn't watched it before, but it's funny how they picked up on the script reading much like I did. There's nothing wrong with scripted content, TJ has made a whole lot of it in his time. The problem is scripted content
masquerading as unscripted content. It is inauthentic and the same bullshit that politicians and news pundits do when they're grifting to their audiences.
One thing I did want to point out is the argument they had about
whether the new TJ actually believes what he is saying. The budget Undoomed guy says that he believe TJ is being honest because his shift to the far-left has lost him a great amount of his audience, so it doesn't make sense as a grift. The problem is that he's ignoring the fact that following the Adpocalypse, Youtube began to throttle the anti-SJW style content in the algorithm, and made much of it ineligible for monetization. This only got worse over the next couple of years when they began banning people instead of just throttling/demonetizing. He was hemmoraging views long before his switch. That type of content was no longer profitable and was dangerous to produce, that's why he stopped doing it. It's okay on Youtube to say that landlords should be genocided, but you'll get banned for making fun of a tranny. TJ followed the side he could actually profit from.
If you look at the comments on his original discussion with Vaush, a lot of people
didn't buy it, mostly people who had watched him in the past. It wouldn't surprise me if a good majority of TJ's current audience only know him from Vaush and other Vaush clones, at least on his main channel. Ignorance of his past is the only explanation other than simple retardation to explain why so many people have fallen for the latest grift.
